    Good explanation..but i have doubt in eq 10 why you have write there d(∆G) instead of ∆(dG)...i am from biological background so i can't understand this...pls tell me mam.

    • @PearlsExcel
      @PearlsExcel  4 года назад +1

      d indicates smallest change whereas ∆ indicate total change.

    So should we write if the initial and final values of G,H,S AT CONSTANT TEMPERATURE BE G1,H1,S1 AND G2,H2,S2
    OR AT CONSTANT PRESSURE BE G1,H1,
    S1 AND G2,H2,S2

      I'm not getting it ..ur doubt

    • @zahir635
      @zahir635 4 года назад +1

      In my book this whole sentence is written before solving this equation but according to me it should be written at constant pressure because we are differentiain w.r.t temperature

      @PearlsExcel  4 года назад

      Hello kedar, thx for your review comment.
      Basically, Gibbs Helmholtz equation used in the calculation of the change in enthalpy using the change in Gibbs energy when the temperature is varied at constant pressure also used in predicting spontaneity of the process.
