- Danger! This Austin A35 Van tackled a huge snowstorm that nearly caused a collision, had a modification that terrified pedestrians, and was owned by my father in the 1960s. The video covers:
• Austin A35 Van specification
• ‘unwise’ modification (kidney choppers)
• trafficators (old fashioned indicators)
• the mighty snowstorm
• clutch failure (and the lazy mechanic)
• Austin A35 Van sales invoice (and other documents).
Austin A35 Van revealed: the real life experiences of a man who drove one in the 1960s.

Cracking video. If you've not already got links with classic clubs for youngster you should get them as they appreciate your info and presentation style. Kidney cutters were a new one on me and I'm old.
Trafficators look like fun. I love the headlamp hoods. Old cars look so stylish and really had something about them. Thanks for another fun story.
Gotta love a kidney chopper!
If it was windy they would not return
That's interesting, Patrick. Thanks for the comment.
Your animations are so funny 😂 cool video, thanks!
Thanks. Glad you enjoy the videos.
That looks very like the van the bread man would make his deliveries in, who lived in a near-by village with his own bakery within his old stone, large home, turning out bread like youve never tasted before...utterly yummy. I couldn't wait for his van to roll up, because he always fave my sister and i a small bread roll each.
Nice story, Angela. Thank you.
@@CarSpyTV you're welcome. Nice memories.
You have a bad track record with trees. I hope you don't park under them anymore😳
Had trouble with hedges, too!
