  • Going over some upgrades that I have made to the highland Nepenthes cabinet!
This upgrade has solved nearly all of the problems that I have been facing since the enclosures construction. The temperature and humidity swings have been eliminated, algae growth has slowed, and the plants are putting out larger leaves than ever!
    Nitty Gritty Details:
Light: 2x 300w Equivalent Full-Spectrum LED - 14hr Photoperiod - Approx. 15-25k Lux (Math could be completely wrong, need a meter to get an accurate reading)
Humidity: 5 Head House of Hydro Ultrasonic Mist Maker - 75-82.5%
    Day/Night: 73-78 Day, 51-56 Night
This is the go-to channel for carnivorous plant care information, tutorials, and updates regarding my botanical endeavors. You can watch the carnivorous plants eating, growing, propagating, and breeding all in one place!
I've done my best to keep the information accurate, but please let me know of any discrepancies!

@@HypnoticExotics wow, that's some pretty serious lighting. I'm thinking of around 150W but my lights will be much closer, maybe 30cm away. A mix of blurple and white. What do you think?

Yeah my lights are almost overkill, almost... The 150w blurple/white grow light sounds like it should keep your plants happy. You can always raise/lower it, and play with the photoperiod as well. Just keep an eye on the new growth, as long as they're not etiolated, burned, or yellowing you should be gooooolden :)
