What people don’t know is that Al B. Sure! Originally was gonna be a rapper. The In Effect Mode was goin to a straight hip hop LP. However, he changed his mind and had to “learn” how to sing like an R&B artist.
Al sounds amazing here. His singing style is so unique especially his falsetto. Every falsetto singer whether solo or from a group back then had their own unique sound. Like on his Unsung episode they was right about him wearing the hard church shoes with no socks lols. Feet HAD to be hurtin after a full concert hahaha.

Agreed! Better than some of his early live performances. Only thing: He shouldn't expect response from "call and response" with a foreign audience. He should have dropped the "say yeah" and holding the mic out to the audience for this Japan show.
