Awesome interview! I've been a massive MH fan for over 20+ years (probably since about 1999 or 2000? Or so?) and they've gotten me through some very tough and dark times in my life. I'm still waiting for Robb to publicly reveal WHY Dimebag Darrell called Robb "Car Jacker"!? 😂😂😂. I've asked Robb personally on his own Twitch channel (which is only $6 a month and totally worth every penny btw!) and he refuses to answer that question! Someone really needs to get that outta him and soon! Haha. Anyways, I'm a new sub to your channel Ola and I'm enjoying it very much! Stay Metal! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🔥🔥🔥🎸♥️🖤

Saw Machine Head in Manchester not long ago, was a fuckin killer show! The production from both Machine Head and Amon Amarth was spectacular! Awesome interview, nice one 🤘🏻
I'm an old head at this point rapidly approaching 50, & like most I grew up on the usual metal suspects - Metallica, Anthrax, Pantera, etc - but somehow Machine Head had sort of flown under my radar coming up. Around '09 or so Megadeth came down here to Ft Lauderdale during their tour for the Endgame album & they played a House of Blues-sized venue called Revolution. The opening act was MH and they absolutely KILLED that night! Megadeth was flawless as usual, but for me MH stole the show. Idk how they had managed to slip by me over all of those years, but I left that show an instant fan. So THANKS TO MEGADETH for introducing me to such an amazing band! And I mean that literally because Robb was kind enough to stick around behind the venue after the show (along with Megadeth guitarist Chris Broderick) signing autographs, taking pics, & just shooting the shit for about 45 minutes. Both guys were just super-cool, down-to-earth dudes who seemed to just genuinely want to hang with the fans. It was an amazing night that I'll never forget! I know this is long & no one will read this far, but I have to add that Robb was one of the most considerate ppl I've ever met backstage. I'm disabled & I have to walk with a cane, and when Robb saw me having a bit of a hard time waiting to get a pic he walked up to me, took me by the arm, & marched me right up to the front where he & Broderick were holding court. He took pics with me & Chris, gave me a guitar pick, & asked me all about myself. For that brief moment I felt like a kid again & it was awesome! So thanks Robb!! I hope that I get to see you guys again one day!
Read the whole thing. Great story. I've been fortunate enough to get to hang w Robb a few times. He's such a good dude. Genuinely appreciates all his fans. Last time I saw MH, back in 2018, I got to kick it with the band after the show & he actually remembered me. Came out to the patio area where I was smoking & was like, "you're a hard dude to find". Blew my fuckin mind that he came looking for me. Went in, did shots & raged. Unforgettably badass night, for me.

Ola! What a great interview as usual, I loved Robb playing Davidian! I always wait through every interview for the guests to play their instruments, I would love to see more of that if the interviewee is down in the future! Like when Kiko started playing Tornado of Souls with the oversize pick, Per Nilsson playing around, etc. Also the Dimebag story was so awesome, Dimebag is still the life of the party through all of those memories. 🤘
Cool! Not exactly the biggest Machine Head fan (not because I don't like the music but because it hasn't hit me at the right moment, I guess), but Robb seems like a really great dude and Dimebag stories are always awesome.
Man what a Coffe with Ola, thanks man love the interview, You we're kind of nervous at the begining at least to me, but then the chat came flawless and the Cherry on the cake was the Dime story by Flynn love the content and just hope good for you and Flynn. Cheers
I met him in 2009 at Newark during a MetallicA show. I was front road, that tour if you had MetallicA fanclub tickets you could enter the arena like an hour before the show. So MH still was doing soundcheck, talked to him, told him I don’t enjoy his kind of singing…we had a good laugh, we also laugh during their show, I was just in front of his microphone…next day the same, so he gave me a few pics…class act guy!
Man I F'n love Machine Head. As a 90's kid, Machine Head and Pantera were the evolution of metal. I think Machine Head was the first time I heard drop tuned shredding and had no clue why they sounded so good for YEARS. Oh I got it now man, G and D (standard tuning) strings on the 7th fret harmonics. I've definitely been playing that wrong lol. Can you hear those rings banging against the guitar as he's playing that riff DEAR GOD 😳
Amazing talk, I can see how much Ola was trying to suppress his excitement :') Cool stories, Machine Head are f*cking awesome! Looking forward to more big guests!

This whole thing story about anime and Macross/Robotech hits so close to my heart, and then he starts to talk about his sons and as a father of 3 sons this hits even more! Life goals!
Stay Metal! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🔥🔥🔥🎸♥️🖤
🤘💜🤘United in metal worldwide MH metal Family 💜 🤘 💜 hope u doin ok?EHH are vry missed..life saviour MH...
Kinda proud that Vogg is Machine Head's axeman! there are some wonderful guitar players in Poland :)
Wow so cool 😎 😎 😎 I played the harmonics wrong too😂😂😂 thanks so much for showing us how to play it the right way!!!! Sooooo cool!!!!!! ....and I also forgot to play the slide....but I will do it from now!!!! Awesome🔥🔥🔥 Thanks Ola for the Interview, Rob is an Idol to me since Burn my eyes came out!!!!!!
Great story about Dimebag, thanks Ola.
Saw Machine Head in Manchester not long ago, was a fuckin killer show! The production from both Machine Head and Amon Amarth was spectacular! Awesome interview, nice one 🤘🏻
Always Fun To hear rob flyyn talkin! Fan of his music and his podcast! Talk more mate i'll Listen 🤘🔥👊
Machine Head is killer live for sure.
AMAZING INTERVIEW OLA!!💪🤘🔥🔥..Robb Flynn & Ola & VOGG should do a killer song together!! I Love Vogg's amazing talent and attitude and Ola's!!..both you guys in my opinion are the 2 best Metal guitar players in the WORLD!🔥🔥🔥🔥💪🤘😎
Great vibe from you, Ola, and super great to know Robb Flynn from this side. But you win the most - the memories :) Cheers!
Yessss robb is the man! Could you do an Ola learns aesthetics of hate by machine head?
Robb called me a waste of unemployment from stage for not drinking at a show. It was a great moment. Excellent interview!
unless i was drunk like the night at manchester apollo, did he mention me jumping off the balcony that night and nearly stopping the gig?
\m/☺🔥Badass Ola!!! Great Interview!! Really enjoyed this! And The Dime story Epicness
That was a great interview capped off with a great story. Thank you Ola & Robb
Cøffe with Øla feat Røb Flynn
Ola this is insane! The Dimebolt story is priceless!! Dimebag was a force of nature!! Unstoppable!!
Called it! Awesome, can't wait to watch this
Great Video 👍🏻 thanks
Robb Flynn in the flesh! That´s awesome! 🤘
