    Hello everyone I just wanted to add a small correction that in the graph when Slip = 1 then the torque will not be 0 rather it will be some definite value which is the starting torque.

      Yes at that slip torque is maximum

      Actually the notes which I have prepared for the video are lost. I really want to help everyone by providing proper handwritten notes pdf but It will take time. I am alone to do this work. Sorry, you have to make notes on your own for some videos.

      Ha jiska resistance jyada h uska maximum torque jaldi milega, sbse jyada resistance jiska uska starting torque hi maximum hoga .... That's my mistake , sorry for inconivience.

    sir in 01:56 aap ny s=lowest value denumerator mai put kia but numerator mai put nae kia,,why??

      In denominator there is term s square ... You know that if we square a term which is in decimal (because value of slip is between 0 -1 ) , the term gets more smaller ... That's why we neglect in denominator but as we can see that in numerator the term s has a significant effect so we can not neglect it.

    brother i am confuse... if slip is high,, it means the actual speed and synchronous speed is different, so it means rotor will rotate.. but here in graph you always say if slip is high the speed will reduce.. as you early said if slip is present rotor will rotate.. if slip is small it means syn; speed will reach and rotor will stop moving so how torque gets maximum..?? torque must also gets minimum.. ( i am considering torque and speed as same) , please explain ..

      You are getting wrong by considering torque and speed same ... torque is a force exerted to rotate some object (shaft here) , now if load increses then more torque is needed ... and speed is something which is measured in revolutions per min. (RPM) ... you can understand better in this way , let us take a example of bicycle, when it is at rest , we have to put more effort to rotate it (it is the torque we are giving to the tyres) then after sometime when it starts moving our force automatically decreases and speed of bicycle also increases . So speed is just a measure that how far something is travels in a given period of time . ...... two motors may have same speed (like a small fan requires less torque to rotate at 1800 rpm but if we talk about a large motor (industries motors) the. They require very high torque to rotate at 1800rpm ... so now i think your doubt of torque and speed is cleared and now your doubt related to slip will also be cleared.     Sir 5:45sec par s=1hoga toh vo toh hmara stand still ka condition hoga phir aapne aisa kyo kaha ki machine ab ruk jayegii kyoki relative motion 0 hai .s=1par relative motion toh rahta hi h sir

      Jaisa ki aap graph me dekh sakte ho ki torque maximum hone k baad decrease hone lagta h , jiska resistance jyada h uska to maximum torque hi starting torque h , lekin jiska resistance kam h unko torque bhi kam h jiski vajah se usme overheating ki problem hoti h or machine eventually stop ho jaati h , isiliye starting resistance jyada hona chahiyeh machine ka .... Shayad aapka doubt clear ho gaya hoga.
      Dhyaan rakhe ki resistance jitna kam hoga starting me ,machine k liye utani hi jyada problems aayengi high currect flow hoga jo machine ko damage kr sakta h isliye overload protection di jaati h .... That's why maine kaha ki after maximum torque the torque decreases. Gradually and machine will stop finally .. aap dekh sakte ho characteristic graph me ... Agar koi doubt ho toh puch sakte h aap

    Sir, agar mei resistance high rakhunga to starting torque to mujhe high milega ye samjha..... lekin uske baad to torque decrease ho ja raha hai..... to fir kuch der baad to machine rukh jayegi.... to kya starting ke baad resistance ko ghata dete hai ?

      Xs>>r , because we have taken larger values of s which are near 1 like .9, .85 etc. .. by various results the value of r get was too low as compared to xs , so we can ignore it ... that's why i removed r^2.

      Machine speed up jaldi karega.
      Ghumna to start hoga hi and
      Agar jaldi Tmax mil jaye to heavy load ko start kar sakega.

    bhai medium slip and high slip ka concept galat hai tumhara, high slip par R2 ko neglect karenge w.r.t. sX2 not at medium slip.
