I had a 78 Vette. Had it not been totaled, it had the potential to be a collectable car. The looks weren't anything out of the ordinary, it was white, with black leather. What made it stand was the fact it had an AM/FM/8Track, with a CB radio together from the factory (only 16 cars had that option) The other fun thing about it, was the VIN number ended in "00049" as in, it was the 49th Corvette produced. Usually, the first 50 or so are used internally by Corvette division to shake out. Through a timely conversation, and pure luck, I got #49, and I got it 6 weeks before the Vettes were released to the dealers. (as you can imagine, it was a fight with the deal to take delivery; they wanted to put it on the showroom floor as the first 1978 Corvette in Detroit) I didn't trust leaving the car on a showroom floor; I just knew someone would come along, offer over sticker, and they'd sell it, even though it was already bought and paid for. It was a great car, and I wanted it keep it as long as I was on the planet, so naturally, someone crashed into it, totaling it. To this day I'm still bummed
Good looking, yes. Fast, not really. All it needs is a 383 small block with Holley Sniper FI, good exhaust, and perhaps a reworked 700R4 behind it. Would be as reliable as stock, only a lot more fun under the right foot.
Yeah!! 25th Anniversary for 1978…. Mine had Red Guts leather , sold with Low miles…about 1600 total. Thanks to my Enclosed trailer. We won many car show trophies for polish and detailing. I still have a few chrome lug nuts from 1979. 🪣👁️🚙🚙

So what are the miles?
What is the asking price?
For almost all dealer videos you go to the company website and look up the price as none of them seem to list prices in the videos.
1978 Should've been an update year. '78 or '79 was an Indy 500 Pace car edition too with 1/2 black & 1/2 silver.
1978
It was. Back glass changed.
Get your fingers out of the spokes.
Let's cut to the chase: Does it have a 4-speed? If not, than spare us all of the other salesman BS. Please.
They aren't collectors' cars legitimately. They are slow, mostly automatics and an aging body. If it's not a L82 it's a total dog.
Hey that look like my car :(
Hey my father has one of those but it’s brown and the interior is mostly black
Camera guy isn't very good. Showing the guy dam near zoomed in on em. What the F. Show the car
