Bandai 2nd and 3rd I ended up owning but I needed to spring for the Banpresto Landing Shin figure for a nice fourth form figure. The Bandai fourth is lacking accuracy and detail.
I like them myself, still have not picked them up, But might in time here. The movie was different but I did think it was a cool take on Godzilla. I could have swore that you reviewed them before but I am sure it was just me seeing someone else review them but hey good review and Happy Birthday Shin Godzilla.
In the movie, pretty sure the gills were spilling blood. Shin G was really struggling breathing on land. The paint job on the 3rd Form is probably intentional. You have a creature evolving faster than it could comprehend and is in constant agony. His body won't be pleasant to look at.
Wooo Happy 5th Birthday Shin Gojira! 🥳🥳🥳 Very very nice sculpts on all of these beasts. Absolutely love the spines on Shin, just so freaking cool. Looking at the tails for the 2nd and 3rd form figures evoked similarities to moray eels I've seen in captivity. Then it hit me that the big googly eyes and super sharp teeth could also partly be based on those freaky looking creatures. Interesting 🤔
