I love cash stuffing I don’t mind Taking out the money and putting it back into the bank when needed because it helps me not over spend. I learned so much from you ❤ 😊
❤ Love that you have a Therapy envelope and are saving up to invest in you. I want to start contributing to one too, for a Queer therapist & I know regular meets are going to cost bank 😊 Worth it. Mental Health is wealth ❤
I started out being able to save like 20-30. Build the muscle by budgeting with that you have... then find a way to bring in more income. Try different things, learn about various side hustles online that dont require a lot of money up front... then when you get it to generating revenue... save and invest that income.
Hey I have a question I know you recently purchased a home my question is if you’re doing cash envelope stuffing how was you able to show the underwriter if it’s not in your bank account I wanted to start back cash envelope stuffing but I’m trying to purchase a home in the near future
Adding your money into your high yield savings account each month is ideal so that you can have it for verification for your underwriter when they are reviewing your loan documents. I would suggest adding money every month for the next 6 to 12 months depending on when you are looking toward purchasing your home. Consistency is key. Good luck with the mortgage process and saving!
The money I cash stuff is from each paycheck. I deposit the money once it reaches a certain amount. That money then ages in my accounts. I had no problem getting a mortgage.
Oh Jasmine, there is so much to learn about budgeting and how it changes from month to month and how you plan differently depending on what a person’s specific goal is. I have been following you since 2021 and I am so sad to say, I still haven’t put a budget in place yet. I have bought (some of your products), still interested in how to use them right, but I am still lost and confused. Plus I get bored easily and distracted with my ADHD, that is something I am working on in therapy. Want to be consistent and complete the goals I finally want to set for myself, starting with finances. Where do you suggest I start? Buying your video series or just watching all of your older RUclips videos from the beginning and taking notes. I have cash binders, some cash envelopes, a cricut machine to make labels, but I still don’t know where to begin. Jasmine, you are so good at this budgeting stuff and make it look so easy, but I don’t know how or where to start??? If possible, can you please recommend a starting point that could work for me. I am disorganized with ADHD, in therapy (for trauma & depression/anxiety), and because I am taking that healing so seriously, I am also serious about getting my finances organized this year! I have been away from your videos because I have been watching the “RUclips Planner Community” people to get my self organized with meal prepping, cooking, chores and Am & PM routines to grocery shopping on a set day, and so-forth, using planners to help me through my days, weeks and months. Making daily, weekly and monthly plans, goals & routines. I have gotten into decorative & functional planning watching these RUclipsrs, but to buy the Happy Planners, Stickers and journals, I need to have a budget. I am also up in age and need to start looking at retirement preparation. Do have some funds in accounts from my work (401K), & a mortgage that I want to pay-off, but day-to-day I would love to have a regular plan to follow to get myself saving more than a spending, and paying down debt. Have followed your videos, just need a structured plan to budget. And learning how to use the savings challenges to fund my fixed and variable expenses. Sorry this is so long, I am just a little all over the place and just need a structured format to follow. What do you suggest? Thanks for your time and still glad you are making “teaching” videos with finances 😅😅😅😅! You are so incredibly helpful and still the GOAT, or “It Girl” when it comes to teaching people how to save money and get out of financial debt!! Thanks Jasmine, Arlene 😊
I love your setup!! Also some advice wallpaper can be a pain in the butt, paint is faster!! But in the end its up to you wallpaper seems more labor intense.
Do you have a video on just that yellow binder at the end? I'd love to know more about it. My daughter will graduate from one college 2025 and then head off to the next college to finish up another 2 year program
@@Baddiesandbudgets the expensive..but think about how less you will have to get your pool clean. That's saving money right there and in the winter time I will be covered

Take the meat and leave the bone! I heard that from my pastor growing up.
Yes!
Can you make a binder like the college one to use for gifts at Christmas?
Hello,
Can I use your post graduation binder for a high school senior?
I love your setup!! Also some advice wallpaper can be a pain in the butt, paint is faster!! But in the end its up to you wallpaper seems more labor intense.
I'm learning that. I have an eclectic sense os style though so some of the designs I want are only available in wallpaper.
Great job sis ♥️ 💓 ❤️
