@@matthiassventoest6800 30 miles in and they have lived up to the expectations so far. Never thought I’d say this but Brooks really nailed this shoe 👍🏼. Used it for long runs and threshold workouts so far but have tested every pace in it and it handles anything from EZ pace to 5k pace really well. from what I have felt, I think it particularly shines at tempo or threshold pace. I did a 5 mile threshold in it just yesterday and it was bouncy but also very easy to settle into my pace. Upper is 10/10 too, it’s super premium. I think this shoe runs like a firmer endorphin speed 3. Hope this helps!
i love them. perfect training shoe especially if you have to be on road a lot. it excells at training hard efforts like threshold and tempo. it goes quick and it doesnt give you nothing. the firmness keeps rolling you which is great. the way i would describe the feeling is like a heavier super shoe with more comfort.
I'm curious to see how the Max 2 compares to the Hyperion 2. I liked the Max v1. It was a really fast feeling shoe but a touch softer might have been nice.
Can you compare it to sc trainer v3, reviewed recently. Assuming that they are in the same group of uptempo trainers. Which plate is more flexible and forgiving? Thanks
Great review, I found the Hyperion Max 1 long and narrow midfoot.. Actually went down half a size... But then got the narrow midfoot.. How is the fit of V2? The sidewalls in the midfoot area worry me.. ⚠️
If I was a brand putting out a super trainer, I would make sure their's at least a 6 mo. separation period launch date between this shoe and the Asics Superblast 2. The Asics Superblast 2 will surely suck up all the oxygen in the room.

Bought them this morning and it's so good.
Serrated laces just make sense, Mizuno has some silicone-layered laces which worked well for a few runs but eventually the silicone layer eroded.
Appreciate this! Get mine in the mail tomorrow and running a tempo workout asap!

The fit of the upper was pretty spot on for our review team. I had no issues with the midfoot being too narrow. - Brandon

No, ES4 is mushy and softer compared to this. I returned my ES for these, way better fit/upper and responsive ride
