The knocker’s jumpscares and overall presence are indeed unsettling, but when you get a good look at it, its skin isn’t that scary. (Though the herobrine-esque “in your face” jumpscare got me)

you can identify those with pvp experience by how fast they place blocks after being scared, or you can just identify how scared they are, either one works

And when it does, it's completely silent, so that it messes with the player's mind who'll think they forgot to close the door and make them increasingly more confused everytime it happens.
