If kids report abuse to school staff and the parents' response is to pull them out of school, that's a huge red flag and should warrant a full investigation
I've heard that from a lot of adult adoptees and people who went through foster care. If you're in a better-off household with certain demographics they will not help you for several reasons
@@no_peace right? They probably figured these 2 seemingly sweet white lesbian women were just what those kids needed. No one wants to be the negative "jerk" that calls out the emperor for being naked. I know that feel because I was always that jerk.
you have no idea how often this happens. the authorities simply dont care. and their responses seem completely random and arbitrary. its not with just adopted kids, it happens in general. wheter is mental health issues, being warned about people that are about to snap, you name it. you can present them with evidence, a million red flags, testimonies. they just dont care. police/first responders etc only seem to deal with the "clean up" AFTER the fact. they dont move an inch to deal with any preventable tragedy. they only move their ass once you already have the knife sticking out of you or somebodys offed themselves. deplorable! (oh but wait till some old coot calls them up cause "4 teenagers are drinking beer by the dumpster behind his building" or a coupld slightly raises their voice during an argument...then watch em show up IN SECONDS)
Devonte’s aunt had custody of him and his siblings before they were adopted by the Harts. She lost custody because she let their mother visit with them ONE TIME. She desperately tried to get them back but never saw them again. Completely senseless tragedy that she lost custody after one small mistake but Jen and Sarah were allowed to keep them after substantiated severe abuse. The children were failed at every level.
No, the most disgusting thing about this is NOT how the authorities acted, it’s how how these two women treated these children AND how they were allowed to keep adopting!! And they were allowed to keep adopting primarily for ONE major reason. Because they were lesbians. If you don’t believe that, I suggest you study up and research the topic more thoroughly. Same sex couples have been given a priority in the last handful of years, enabling them to more easily adopt children. This is done because of pressure from the alphabet community shouting discrimination if they’re turned down for any reason, and child services easing restrictions and rules for same sex couples to adopt! All of these statistics are written down, and can be researched. Society is in denial, when it comes to these groups. As a result, agencies of all kinds are now bending over backwards to appease these groups, because if they don’t, they know they’ll face the wrath of the entire alphabet crowd yelling, “They won’t let us adopt just because we ‘re gay”. You can be assured that these people depicted in this video is NOT an isolated case. Guaranteed. There will come a day when society looks back on this time, when same sex relationships were being handed children left and right, and the horrors will all come out. People are going to say, ‘How could society allow such things to happen’? Knowing full well these adults were mentally unstable, and known to have a 400% chance more likely to commit suicide than people in male-female relationships? But current society is so screwed up, we can’t even sit down as adults and discuss this topic! If we try to, people shout they’re being ‘hated on’. Or, the voices wanting to discuss it, are said to be ‘attacking’ them. Or, voices of reason are immediately censored and comments deleted!! That’s the insanity of today. Not allowing adults to even discuss issues. We’re living in very strange times. In my 7 decades, I’ve never seen anything like it, except how I remember the Soviet Union censoring people and controlling what everyone says. Crazy.
Anyone who “homeschools” their children right after someone brings child abuse allegations towards them should be seriously investigated. That’s a huge 🚩
Not really though it isn't really a red flag its actually more of a red flag that allegations would come up but I do see what you're saying though and understand that could be in the realm of possibility
@@rosem6293 if you have nothing to hide then why immediately pull them out of school? This is one of many times where this happened and the child/ren end up dead or severely abused.
@@tanyabarclay5890again it isn't a red flag and parents should have to explain why they want to take their kid out lmao it's none of the schools business or the states business 😂 I can only agree with you if its clear that their are signs of abuse clear as day like this one but in general if parents don't want their kids going to public school and decides they want to educate their child or children themselves they can do that
This kind of reminds me about something I read a long time ago about how a lot of times, couples who are not in a very good place in their relationship are also the same couples that constantly try to post these happy moments and good times regarding their relationship as if to make those moments seem true when they are not. People try to project how they want to be seen when they are a different person behind closed doors it seems
The red flag was the kid wearing a sign that said “free hugs”. No kid out of their own volition wants to participate in that sort of thing; they can tell it feels awkward, schmaltzy, and forced. It oozes a parent trying to get attention via their child. Those poor kids.

I thought the same effin thing. No joke I’m born in 78, if this was done AT any point from the 80’s to ‘95/96 that shit would have never happened. My brother has autism which at that point wasn’t well understood and whenever the schools went to label him my mother pulled the two of us out and put us in another school. Mid 90’s is when he was in later HS and decided to not go anymore. Because of truancy not only did the truants show up at the house but the state and school also did and forced my mother to finally sign that he indeed was autistic and in need of special education. He never forgave her. She would pass from cancer in 2006. But despite that, back then, schools didn’t just let u take ur kid out and Willy Nilly no follow up. This country just keeps getting fckn dumber and dumber
Homeschooling is kind of a protected situation, in a sense. There are basically no rules in Idaho regarding homeschooling. Oregon likely isn't much different, or, not hard for parents to fake what the kids are supposedly learning. I think a lot of it stems from the religiosity of most homeschooling systems and the state not wanting to tread on the rights of religious parents, since that would be illegal.
It's crazy to me how fast the internet culture changed from "Never post photos of yourself, never share personal information" to the full exposure it is today, with family channels like this showcasing the worst extreme of it.
I think that might just be a case of you quickly become aware of it. Family channels have been a thing since early RUclips. Heck, a lot of the earliest videos to go viral were of family content.
@@ashblossomandjoyoussprung.9917 There was a world before RUclips, kiddo ^^'. The OP was referring to how our parents used to say in the 90's to never ever provide personal information online. Knowing there was a neighbor showing great concern towards those kids, you thought they would finally escape from their so called "happy family". Getting reports from the school should already be enough for those kids to be taken away from these abusers while they do the investigation.
It’s almost like several features of the parents make people unwilling to accept any potential criticism of them. Almost like they’ve been conditioned to perform ridiculous mental gymnastics to deny any suggestion that someone like their parents could be anything less than perfect.
Hold up ! So if I'm not mistaken, they'd already abandoned an adopted child before...how were they even allowed to adopt more children following that????
The 'family channel' trend has always bothered me. How anyone can watch those videos and NOT see the exploitation, manipulation, and emotional damage being done is beyond me.
putting a child identity online or in any other form of media is exploitation, Hollywood included. Child physical labor is forbidden but profiting off children in the entertainment industry is allowed for some reason...
I really am curious what type of people actually enjoy that type of content daily? I've seen ones that are so exploitative with thumbnails of a kid's rashes or talking about a kid failing a test, weirdly uncomfortable personal stuff Like I really don't understand the appeal, they are uninteresting/boring at best and often just straight up uncomfortable
Hearing the neighbor's vouce crack to the point of crying is so anger inducing because he was calling out of genuine concern and worry YET HE WAS IGNORED. I get vibes from a lot of the people interviewed in the news clip that they more than likely harassed the poor guy for doing that despite him being one of the few who raised tge alarms to the danger.
When Devonte got a hug, he cried uncontrollably. I so wish someone could have heard the pleas of his heart. To know those kids could have been saved is heartbreaking.

@@Littlemeast12Animations Oh they do a lot of damage themselves. There was a case of a child being taken away from their parents because they smoked pot. But then later placed the child into a foster home with known meth addicts. Guess what? Those meth addicts killed that child. I can't remember if the parents filed charges or a suit against CPS. And look at the stats of children in the system: most of them are Native American children who were taken from their parents mostly under false pretenses or the smallest offense that didn't actually hurt anyone and are often placed into white homes. Majority of them throughout the decades have reported being abused in some way, including sexually. Believe me when I say this, CPS doesn't care about children and I have zero respect for CPS workers; they're just legal human traffickers for the most part.
And on the flip side, they will go after families who aren't "affirming" the gender of their own kid. They pick and choose some really weird things to ignore or investigate.

I wouldn't even put pics/videos of my kids online, just don't understand why people have a problem with kids on RUclips or Facebook, but don't have a problem with kids in movies and on TV.
Seems to me that they just would have annihilated their own family sooner if the cops had come over the first time. That said, obviously the police were negligent, probably just because they were lazy
It seems as though the police did everything within their power. All the neighbors accusations did was raise suspicion a bit. The police get sent over and get ignored. Without a warrant, they have no legal standing to proceed further. They cant just get a random phone call with an accusation then go blowing up doors to retrieve children. The only ones truly at blame are the murderers.
If a parent's response to being questioned about their children by the school is to pull them out of school completely, that should ring all sorts of alarm bells for CPS!!! It shows that they have something to hide. CPS should then start an intensive investigation, not just say "meh" and let them move on. Such a failure!
Unfortunately it's veur common. My country's version of CPS was discovered to have 62 children missing (their case files were shelved for years if not decades), and nobody knows anything about those kids. The police stumbled upon the untouched files while researching for another case.
@@kathryncumberland I'm from Puerto Rico. Our CPS is an agency called The Department of Families and people have been pointing out their incompetence for decades. Whenever a representative says that they're going to do something to help a kid that's being abused, everyone rolls their eyes because we know it's going to be half-assed. The worst part is that it's not even the social workers fault, it's all administration.
The justice system and foster system is an absolute joke. Those children tried so hard to get help and the authorities did nothing. I will never get over it.
The first line of defense to keep children safe are their legal guardians. Everything else is just a bit more. The only ones that truly failed are the freaks that did this to them.
The saddest thing that these kids still could have been alive if people around didn't fail them the 30 times they asked for help. This definitely was such a sad situation, I genuinely thought they would be saved by the end because of the multiple times they asked for help
One of the worst things about this kind of channel is that it inevitably collects stories of the cops playing with kid gloves and inevitably leads to bloodthirsty responses about how the legal system should be harsher, but the reality is way worse - the legal system is simultaneously *incredibly* forgiving to people who don't deserve an ounce of mercy and unbelievably harsh to people who do.
The TV show Atlanta had an episode based on this story. It was really well done. Can't even imagine how terrifying it would be to get adopted into a family, only to realize you were just a prop to be used. Highly recommend that show. If you want that particular episode I think it was the season 3 premiere.
I believe when the little biy was crying hugging the cop, he was probably hoping someone would save him and his siblings. It's so sad. More should have been done to save these kids.
What makes me SUPER angry is that he probably thought that cops would save them eventually and tried to see them as safety. In reality, the whole system (law enforcement, courts and the adoption industry) ignored and neglected them and left them to die. This world hates children, such a vulnerable portion of our population and it’s heartbreaking.
that's also what i think. the image completely changed to me. now i see a little boy crying for help. it's gut-wrenching. these children were failed. they should still be here. i'll never understand how anyone could hurt a child or any other innocent person and feel nothing.
The part that makes me so damn angry is that the neighbor literally called saying “I am scared for these children’s safety.” Yet the police BRUSHED IT OFF. How can those people even live with themselves, especially after the crash. To Jen and Sarah, I hope you rot in the deepest depth of hell, for this is one of the worst things a human can possibly do. The neighbors, while sympathetic and willing to help the kids somewhat, actually never called the cops. They were too afraid to kick up neighborhood drama. The man you hear on the phone is the neighbor’s father, who was made aware of what was going on and decided to take action himself.
I totally have seen the picture of Devonte hugging the police officer. It seems like the pain and sadness he had were from a lot more than just the rally. It breaks my heart
It should be illegal for parents to monetize videos of their children. No question. It sickens me knowing that there are parents who only love their kids when the cameras are on and the views are high.
Yeah I agree. The rules of TV work/movie need to be changed too. If Jeanette Mccurdy’s book has taught us anything it’s that enough is enough. There’s too much incentive to hurt your children for money that allows terrible people to thrive.
It is illegal. You know why youtube removed all non-child friendly videos? After advertising, it's COPPA. A law that protects children. And yet shit like this happens so often
Eh, at least they finally get to leave this sick world. Could be worse, could get the bad end of the stick and just be forced to slowly wither away in life after never once being treated as anything but garbage :)
If it makes you feel any better they did live with their bio aunt for a short period of time and by all accounts had happy lives. As sad as it is that they were torn away from that, they did feel parental love at some point. All we can do now is remember them and do what we can to prevent anything like this from happening again.
It’s so sad because these children needed parents.. yet got parents like Jen and Sarah. They were children. They needed love. Yet were treated so vile and with no love whatsoever. It’s truly devastating these children had to endure this. It’s so crazy because the foster child Lee they fostered for a little bit if she wouldn’t have been abandoned she would’ve been one of the children in the car.. chilling to think. My heart truly aches for the children involved. They just needed a family
Police and CPS are a complete joke, the kids reached out to multiple people and they did nothing about it. Heartbreaking. Shout out to that one neighbor that tried his best to help them and feed them.
Incompetence is an understatement. The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez showed me if you are a child under a certain income/class level then they will let you slowly die by your abuser so they and others can have fewer minor inconveniences and very short term gains. All of it is fully broken from an empathetic and humanist standpoint.
Imagine the guilt he must feel. He is a true hero in this story. Maybe the only good that came out of it. It was just swept under the carpet because of who these two people were. No one would believe the kids. I’ve had to call cps many times as a teacher, and if CPS didn’t follow up immediately, I called every day and demanded they hurry because I couldn’t sleep at night knowing what some of my students were going home too.
The "we are so provided for" song really hits a note with me. A couple months ago a close cousin of mine was arrested for child abuse after his baby mama's child that he was bathing "fell unconscious" in the tub when he went to get clothes. Several weeks before he and his gf were exposed by this, he made a bizarre string of facebook posts like "***** always hides behind the door and i end up hurting him on accident" and a really odd one "does anyone elses child tear their hair out?". When he called police about the child going unconscious, the police on scene that handled the infant instantly noticed he was covered in bruises head to toe. It was SO obvious that they knew they couldnt hide all the bruises, so they made those posts weeks prior just in case someone saw the kid.
My daughter is adopted, and I would LITERALLY throw myself in front of a truck to keep her from harm. I love her more than my own breath. Any parent who feels less should not be a parent.
Here we can see a person using his adopted daughter for internet goodboi points under a video about people who used their kids for internet goodboi points. Ironic.
The fact that that lady in the news interview used the words "they were isolated" is a red flag right there. That's what abusers do to their victims is isolate them from other family members, friends, and the general public.
It happened to my grandson. He went to stay with his dad in June 2022. His dad didn’t let me, nor his mom get him. She had to spend the night to see her son. Also he never had him enrolled in school. He threw away boxes of the food. I had took for my grand kid. He never took him to his therapy sessions again. All things stopped for him once with dad. I eventually got him back. Thank goodness the cps lady called me. I hurried up went to get him from dad. It was a scary situation. He was looking at his dad, and me. Dad began saying he didn’t agree. The lady says yea you did. Then she said just take him. I said get in hurry! I never want to deal with that again.

I mean in the start of the video he literally highlighted how there are thousands of them it’s just that genuine family channels are so mundane nobody finds them because they’re not over the top and fake
I instantly get bad vibes whenever I hear a story about any type of couple adopting 5 to 10 kids, having an absolute army of children. It seems to never end well there's always money involved.
Very much so. And it ALWAYS starts the same - everyone saw the signs and were concerned enough to notify CPS, but CPS puts VERY little effort into it. However, when there's something actually being blown out of proportion, then CPS descends like a plague.
There have been others. I've heard of one family "prank" channel where the parents would pull pranks on their children; sometimes multiple children, but most of the time was one particular son with a clear case of acute autism, the reason being is that he wasn't the mother's son but the son of the father and his ex-wife. The channel was for the money and was repeatedly claimed to be staged, but how is framing the kids of doing something then screaming at them, making them cry and cry how they didn't do it, or forcing the autistic son to wear a dress for a video where he's crying and screaming that he doesn't want to, and being screamed at by his step mother punishment if he doesn't wear it, all on camera and willfully uploaded to their RUclips, claimed it was all staged. Ultimately, CPS got him out of there and his actual mother got full custody and the mother and father of the channel got jail time. That's all I remember off the tope of my head.
the stuff going on currently with 8passengers is insane They got famous for their VERY strict parenting but now the mother has joined a cult and it's spiraling I hope something doesn't happen to the 4 younger babies stuck with her
*_"Bad things happen when good people pretend nothing is wrong"_* - Corey Taylor The authorities literally condemned those kids to hell on earth for the rest of their lives by not taking action until it was too late.

there is another lesbian couple that castrated their adopted child because they claim their 2 yr old is already trans. Nothing happens, this people instead are celebrated.
And on that terrible note, I need to go cook for and hug all the children in my life. Seriously, the fact that anyone could do this to kids is fucking horrifying to me.
I can't get that "drug baby" comment out of my head... Why wasn't that a red flag? I don't care how "accurate" that sentiment is, to speak of your adopted kid's background to discredit them like that is so nasty to me.
This makes me impossibly angry. Every single one of these children were failed - by their parents that were supposed to love, guide and care for them, and the useless-as-always law enforcement that did jackshit for several years. Nobody ever cares until something devastating happens. One of the most heartbreaking stories I've ever heard.
What could the cops have done? They couldn't just kick down their door and take the kids to a better home. You ever hear of the fourth Amendment? Not every cop is bad, and neither were the ones in this video, they just couldn't do anything in their power. All of that aside tho i agree with everything else you said, It is angering to no end....
It's crazy how easily adults can manipulate other adults to not listen to kids. I've realized over the years that kids don't always lie and when they do lie it's very obvious but when they're telling the truth it's almost always right and never sugar coated. Kids lack the ability to create complex and believable lies about horrifying things such as being abused by parents thus why it should never be brushed off. No child will tell you they have "owies" from mommy hitting them as a lie
@niggette when we think about it, a lot of the time kids aren't treated like people; they're treated as lesser than adults bc they're less aware of the world. but we should really listen up when kids try to tell us something to, bc it's still far better to be fooled by a kid (even tho I agree kids rarely lie) than it is to not take them serious about certain issues
Imagine someone straight up telling you that their kid rummages through the trash for food while complaining about them. That would be an instant CPS call for me.
Judging from their panicked fleeing , they probably killed Devonte for going to the neighbors house repeatedly for food. Having killed him , and also being the child with the highest profile among the lot , and having no way to account for his absence , knowing that they would eventually go to prison for murder they panicked and murdered the rest of the children and killed themselves. The irony however is that knowing what they did, they hide Devonte's remains so well , they have never been found.
That's what I always believed. They took the "punishment" too far this time and there was no way for them to come back from it. It seems to me like these poor babies were used as props to paint the perfect liberal family. Think about it. They checked all the boxes, or at least pretended to check all the boxes.
I saw a documentary about this. Their friends still defend them! They talk about how the one child was always asking for hugs and crying as he hugged as if that was his amazing personality. No, I'm sorry, but little kids aren't "old souls", they don't have adult personalities. A child crying all the time and seeking physical affection while crying is a massive red flag that something is going on with his mental health. These people can't accept that their friends were completely fake when around them. They were starving their children as punishment!!! How can you defend that???
It also makes me wonder if they only hung out with people without internet because realistically one of them was arrested for abuse, and all that takes is a quick Google search of their name since it was public records.
They were probably in on it and trying to deflect blame away from themselves. You can tell by looking at their eyes and voice that they weren’t well-adjusted humans
God, this case hits hard to home. My adoptive mother treated me and my sisters just like this. She was awful and kicked all of us out as soon as we turned 18 and doesn't talk to us. Worst part is she got 4 more kids adopted and cps doesn't listen to me nor my sister's after multiple complaints

Atlanta's episode about Devonte was a heartbreaking reminder, but Donald and the rest of the writers making a better ending for him on the show than the horrible reality of the real story was a beautiful tribute. Rest in peace to all those beautiful babies. They deserved so, so much more.
Seeing the photo of Devonte hugging the police officer is so eerie now. It's framed like Devonte is overcome with emotion and is a willing participant in the hug. Looking at it again, he was probably actually terrified. Those tears were probably tears of fear. He was forced by his parents to confront a police officer at a rally about the killing of a black teenager not much older than him. I think he was actually afraid in that moment.
@@NutsItsBerserkinTime Maybe, but I'm not so sure that they viewed the police as people who could help them. They were at a rally against racially motivated police killings after all, and I'm sure their parents told them in graphic detail about what had happened in Ferguson. I'm sure they were also repeatedly told that the police are bad, they can't help you, etc. as a way to prevent them from asking for help. I can see them going "you can't tell the police anything, they'll hurt you, look at what they did to that boy in Ferguson". Seems right up their alley.
I’m wondering if he wanted to hold on and not let go bc he wanted help. He clearly tried to get them help multiple times. It breaks my heart that nothing was caught sooner.
Yeah that's what modern social justice propaganda does. Convinces people the police are to blame, and should be abolished because some criminals fought the cops or didn't listen to lawful commands. The actual truth is, you're orders of magnitude safer with a cop than if you were to walk around at night in the hood. The anti-cop rhetoric has literally made the streets more dangerous for the very group the "protestors" claim to be fighting for. The actual unbiased data is clear.
This makes me so mad. I remember the little black boy, and I remember thinking what I saw a picture of him hugging that cop that he looked terrified, and at the time I thought maybe it was bc the dude was a cop, but now I realize he probably wanted to say something about the way he was being treated. Man, I hope he lived.
Exactly, in every single photo where he's hugging someone, you can see him crying. I'm certain that it was because that was the only times he'd ever receive any sort of love.
I will never not suspect of any parent that chooses to record and expose their kids lives online for views. I don't care how wholesome their content appears to be. Kids deserve privacy
Amen. Especially when its so obvious the kid doesnt want to be part of it, for example a mom filming her “dAiLy RoUtInE As A MoM” by filming herself wake up her kids, film the kids eating breakfast, then film the ride to school. The kid/kids are obviously tired and just wanting to get ready and go about their day, but their suspiciously energetic mother constantly acts as if its fun and games for all. Ya know, the standard “say goodmorning to the viewers honey!!” As the kid rubs the sleep out of his eyes glaring at the camera, reluctantly saying the words after the mother continues to press for it. It can only get worse from there. The more views and money the parents bring in, the more they seek “wholesome content” all while the kids are over it. Eventually the parents get to the point they crave the views, and will cut the camera and scream at the children to do exactly what they say so they can get there “wholesome content” and cut the camera back on going back to that suspicious energy and pretending they didnt just scream at their child.
@@blahblahblah4544 my point is that it's exploitive, and abusive to rob developing children of their privacy, and anonymity, regardless of their intentions. That's why it should be a crime.
That people still continued to defend a family they didn't even know due to their perception of them through social media shows how completely detached from reality their use of the internet has left them. I remember that car crash, I had no idea the story behind it was so dark and tragic
Actually, they don't want to admit that these people are monsters, because they don't want to admit the part they had in enabling their behavior. They don't want to see how they became part of the problem. They feel guilty and don't want to feel that way, so they hide behind denial.
This is the case with anyone who becomes obsessed with a person or thing, I've seen so many who just completely throw their morals away the second their idol does or subscribes to that same bad thing. First example I can think of is Nicki Minaj, her husband raped a young girl and her fans completely ignore it or downplay it. But I bet a lot of them otherwise say child rape is unforgivable in any other circumstance. It's not ok. These people lose a part of themselves to become attached to these people, and sites like Twitter facilitate this by making sure you can follow these people 24/7, so when they're insulted, it's like you're insulting them. Moral of the story: it's fine to follow famous people if you connect with them and even separate the art from the artist, but don't become obsessed or a 'stan', you literally lose yourself.
People (particularly stupid, proudful or self-righteous people) typically can't stand having their beliefs challenged. They can go to extreme lenghts and pull off all sorts of mental gymnastics to hold on to their narrow worldview. Especially with individuals and social circles like these whose entire existence is based on some alleged moral high ground, admitting their short-comings and hypocrisy threatens not only their facade but their individual identities they've built as part of the group.
These women were the worst. How could they be able to just leave a girl that they cared for and abandon them. That poor girl and that therapist I would be angry.
My god they are so sickening, they didn’t do background checks on them? Also I thought the minute adopted parents are shown to be not qualified they would take the children from them? Again the kids have been failed by every adult around them
That implies the govt cares about adopted kids, or kids in general - they don't care how horribly kids are treated until they're literally forced to do something, as seen in the Hart situation among many others. They don't want adopted kids to be given back - takes up resources to keep them alive.
Officials probably feared backlash if word got out to the media that they had taken children away from a lesbian couple. Something like that could have easily been turned into a panic about homophobia, even if the removal was completely legitimate.
I was looking for this comment, that woman on the interview made me so angry. She's just as much to blame as those evil "mothers." I hope karma catches up with her.
Kids don't act like this. Every single clip looked staged AF even before it was mentioned. The more "perfect" something looks on social media, the more "fake" it most likely is. Those smiles were heartbreaking.
This reminds me of the Turpin case. It's such a shame that random people can be anyone. Stay safe and never ever, trust anyone, even if they're your family members.
The cruel, callous way the Hart parents abandoned Leigh reminds me of the Stauffers, a vlogger family who adopted a Chinese boy only to shove him back into the foster system once they realized he was autistic. As horrible as it was, Leigh actually dodged a bullet.
There was another family who put their adopted child on a plane to Russia. They were nice enough to give him a note to give to any of the guards when he got off at the other end. Russian authorities were less than impressed
that was messed up, and I remember everyone giving me shit for saying they did the right thing. But I wasn’t defending the POS parents. I was just thinking about how it would have turned out for that poor child if they would have kept him.
These babies deserved so much better. Our justice system is so broken. How could this happen to innocent little kids? This is the most horrible thing ive ever heard and seen. May these beautiful babies rest in peace.
this is why we should established Merciless Justice System, criminal shouldn't be treated with the same basic human right as the victim. once the Criminal was convicted, they would lose all of their basic human right that's mean they can be tortured, interrogated and ruin them psychologically and take away their right as a human. our Justice System only protect criminal and not the victim.
Yeah either they don't do shit or they do way too much - in my state a teenage girl was starved to death despite reaching out for help, cps did nothing. Meanwhile my aunt almost got her newborn taken by cps because she has a trace amount of THC in her system. Truly fucked up

The only people in this whole story who didn’t fail these kids were the neighbors. As far as I’m concerned there’s blood on the hands of the school and the cops for consistently doing NOTHING despite numerous warning signs. So disgusting
Cops are to busy keeping jails full with druggie and alcoholics. Judges don't like to lock up parents in cases like these. Even extreme cases barring death get minimal time. There is no money to be made off child abusers so police simply don't care. Unless a case is laid out for them
@Gheywrld as someone who was in the foster care system, shut the eff up. The system is inept, but there's no secret "politically correct agenda." Sit down because your rhetoric hurts real children, regardless of what political side you're on.
i think it has alot to do with them being a conventionally attractive gay couple with a white savior complex. you dont look at them and think they could ever hurt those kids.
Would disagree with this, some children are assholes and deserve to not have parents, of course those kids are usually above the age of 10 since before that you can't do much damage besides being annoying.
I feel like the "friends" who continue to deny that they could of done something like that are just unable to accept that they were fooled and could of done something.
that's a laugh. they should've known from the start and never once done anything. they also lied in the public to save there own asses and of course people LOVE lies they believe them.
That picture of Devonte crying and hugging that cop will forever be in my mind. I felt like he wanted help then but was scared to ask for. Very demonic women.
I feel like this is going to be one of those cases I dont forget. This will haunt my brain. It just really fucking bothers me that these kids practically begged for help so many times and no one (who was in a position to) did anything to stop it.
The neighbors did all they could, so they shouldn’t feel guilty at all. The system are the ones, who should feel guilty. They had plenty of evidence and leverage to remove those kids and place them in foster care. Anything further probably would have landed them in jail.
Who was the one that kept giving these people children? I always hear about how difficult it is to adopt, yet these two can seemingly obtain as many as they want.
@@moderndemon84 there are so many places where same sex couples can't adopt, quit with the homophobia. These women are terrible people because they are child abusers, not because they're gay.

@@KnotsOfWonders 🤔
Crazy.
Them having the kids sing "we are so provided for" is like the most over the top "I'm not an evil abuser" thing ever

It’s scary to think how many family channels may be abusive to their children and we just may never know it :((
There have been others.

I think he was actually afraid in that moment.
seems more like a cry for help, they were already abused by the parents at that point. Either way it's heartbreaking.
@@NutsItsBerserkinTime Maybe, but I'm not so sure that they viewed the police as people who could help them. They were at a rally against racially motivated police killings after all, and I'm sure their parents told them in graphic detail about what had happened in Ferguson. I can see them going "you can't tell the police anything, they'll hurt you, look at what they did to that boy in Ferguson". Seems right up their alley.

I will never not suspect of any parent that chooses to record and expose their kids lives online for views. I don't care how wholesome their content appears to be. Kids deserve privacy
Hell yes, they do. They should make it a crime to exploit children, in such a manner.

That people still continued to defend a family they didn't even know due to their perception of them through social media shows how completely detached from reality their use of the internet has left them. I remember that car crash, I had no idea the story behind it was so dark and tragic
They do the same with celebrities and athletes.

That implies the govt cares about adopted kids, or kids in general - they don't care how horribly kids are treated until they're literally forced to do something, as seen in the Hart situation among many others. They don't want adopted kids to be given back - takes up resources to keep them alive.
Lesbians go by other rules

I hated the "respect elder" shit
this is why we should established Merciless Justice System, criminal shouldn't be treated with the same basic human right as the victim. once the Criminal was convicted, they would lose all of their basic human right that's mean they can be tortured, interrogated and ruin them psychologically and take away their right as a human. our Justice System only protect criminal and not the victim.
I hope the mothers are suffering in hell getting what they deserved for abusing their children.
Take note of the states they went to. You mean to say the justice system over there.
Greed is one helluva a drug there
The most heartbreaking part of all this is that no one will ever know the true extent of suffering these babies went through. It’s so unfathomably sad
no the most heartbreaking part is that they never got to escape that hell and learn what it means to live a full happy life
When does CPS ever NOT fail us?
Yeah either they don't do shit or they do way too much - in my state a teenage girl was starved to death despite reaching out for help, cps did nothing. Meanwhile my aunt almost got her newborn taken by cps because she has a trace amount of THC in her system. Truly fucked up
@@August_NighttimeNeko Pretty sure there was a case in SF of a kid being taken from his family after telling his teacher that his parents don’t support lgbt lmao

Ultimately, I had a feeling this would end super tragically, and yet, I still wanted to believe that these kids got help before it came to that. It's so heartbreaking that these kids never had the loving family they needed and deserved.
Maybe because it’s obvious it ended super tragically 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
@@josh4450 they're probably describing their thoughts while watching the entire video, i mean it ended up on Nick Crowley's channel.... that's usually a not good sign.
Unless a case is laid out for them
The school did what they could in contacting cps
Completely agree. They were so skinny my goodness, all of them! The system, along with many others, failed these kids so horribly, Its heartbreaking!
The amount of cases social services and police ignore and lead to instances like this is absolutely shocking...
@Gheywrld Political correctness? Please explain…
@Gheywrld political correctness has nothing to do with it
@Gheywrld as someone who was in the foster care system, shut the eff up.
The government does not care about you

Wow so deep lol fk em kids
Would disagree with this, some children are assholes and deserve to not have parents, of course those kids are usually above the age of 10 since before that you can't do much damage besides being annoying.
I feel like the "friends" who continue to deny that they could of done something like that are just unable to accept that they were fooled and could of done something.
they're equally repulsive people too. Look at their disgusting, stinky hippie appearances
that's a laugh. they should've known from the start and never once done anything. they also lied in the public to save there own asses and of course people LOVE lies they believe them.
I personally think that they should be arrested as accomplices to the Harts’ abuse of the children simply for their denial.
Enablers. Just as evil, for they were probably around more but ignored the children’s dreadful faces
@@eeveefan132 yes they should be they saw the what they said about thier kids and they never reported about the abuse
Can only imagine how guilty the Neighbors might have felt if they could have done more to help or stop them from leaving with the kids.
The neighbors did all they could, so they shouldn’t feel guilty at all. The system are the ones, who should feel guilty. They had plenty of evidence and leverage to remove those kids and place them in foster care. Anything further probably would have landed them in jail.

Poor little Devonte's eyes always looked so sad even when he was smiling. None of the children had any light in their eyes.
Dude got my eyes...
The photo with the cop immediately struck me as a more-than-meets-the-eye situation. That was probably the first genuine affection this kid had received, perhaps ever, in his life. Hence, the tears. This whole story is just gut-wrenching 😖😞
I thought the same, a little boy shouldn’t be able to channel such complex emotions. The pain in his little face is devastating 💔
