Thank you, Ken. These reflections have greatly assisted me this evening. God bless.
Lord I come to you asking for your blessings as a single mom. I’m raising my children with courage, despite the challenges I face. Both of my sons are special needs and require so much from me. Lord give me strength as I struggle to pay my rent every month and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children I’m ashamed Lord help me. I ask that you bless me with your wisdom and guidance, as I navigate parenthood on my own.
😢Almost a year and a half ago, our 33 year old son cut himself off from the family and we have not heard from him since nor do we even know where he is. The pain has been immense and when I offer pain to God in reparation and know that He has a plan, I can go on with my life with strength and courage. It is when I try figure out why that I break down and the suffering only intensifies. God bless you and thank you!!!
I am so sorry for what you have gone through! We will keep your personal intentions in our prayers this evening when we pray our Rosary.
@catherinewo
I will remember you in my prayers 🙏🏼
🙏🏻🙏🏻🥀🙏🏻🙏🏻
I have been enjoying this whole series, but today’s reflection was so incredibly instructive and useful for me! I think I’m going to listen to this 20 more times. Thank you!
You are so welcome! Thanks for journeying with us.
I wasn't very patient with my beautiful wife yesterday. She was making an argument with which I didn't agree. But in my impatience, I snapped. Lack of peace. Lack of charity. Even though I *thought* I was arguing from the side of righteousness.
I owe her an apology. I can't wait for her to wake up so I can. We didn't go to bed angry at each other. But I still should have taken care of it last night.
Thank you, Ken. Your message today was timed perfectly. And thank you, God, for Your perfect timing. And Your mercy.
God bless you, Ken and Janelle! And family!!
Thanks for sharing.
Please pray for me to have patience at work and with some family members 🙏 I need to learn how to do it. Sending prayers for you and your family, Ken. Always enjoy your videos.

Ken, what a wonderful video. I have suffering, financial, and patience in my life. You and Janelle through these videos give me such hope! Thank you
I just needed that message so much. I am going to try my hardest to be patient and draw strength from the Lord.
What stood out to me was that from trials comes strength 💪 That is very encouraging!
Praise God!🙏🏼❤️
Dominus Est! ❤️
My husband has been suffering with a painful disease for the past two years which has also left him paralysed from the neck down and his patience is running thin. Jesus is very quiet. My brother in law is in the charis bible college in Colorado. "God wants you well" is their motto. His brother believes that my husband has done some wrong or has some unforgiveness in his life which is preventing him from getting well, while the Catholic view is " grin and bear it for Jesus" but there is no end in sight and he can't grin any longer. I don't think my husband is in a pity party. For the first year you can grin and bear it then the cross gets too heavy to carry and you end up on your knees trying to carry it. We sure could use some words of wisdom here!!
Love that Aspen correlation to our lives. 💖
Great and much needed reflection! “Dominus est” 🙏♥️✝️

Wow Ken. Those last few words you spoke really touched my heart... I keep falling just like your little one and I want to give up... Please pray for me to have fortitude.
Thank you Holy Spirit for EVERYTHING ❣️
Excellent Ken! I just sent this to a friend who moved toFL from NY. Her daughter has to find a job there and she has autoimmune disease. She is having trouble adjusting.
We also have to remember that God has infinite patience with us as we strive to become holier. So we should have patience with ourselves while not making excuses. Patience comes from true love. Some of us need healing from past experiences or sin. Ask Jesus and Mom (Our Lady) to heal your heart and remove any obstacles that may be keeping you from truly loving God, others and yourself. Whether it be resentment, fear, residual effects of sin that was forgiven in Confession, confusion, or any “weeds” in there. Jesus WILL do this if you ask sincerely and you will find yourself remembering some things that might be painful but surrender them FULLY to Jesus. And ask for healing (daily) If you need to forgive someone or yourself tell Jesus that you DO forgive even if you do not “feel” it. Love, forgiveness etc are not “feelings “ but decisions to do so. The sentiment and joy may come but the desire is what makes it real! Happy St Josephs Day! Pray for us! Our Lady of Good Success pray for us!
Excellent message. The tree example was enlightening
Thank you for a new perspective on Patience, enduring suffering and uniting it to the Cross, self pity is annoying but I understand all this better..God bless and keep your ministry thriving.
🙏🙏🙏 Thank you
Grazie mille!
Thank you for this wonderful reflection. God bless you.
Thank you praying for patience with family members making bad decisions 😢🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Your messages always resonate with me and help me so much on my journey to Jesus. Thank you.
I REALLY needed to hear this .... time to get my book out and take it to adoration LOL ... I love your reflection ... simple but not easy when circumstances are extremely unjust
Thank you! This Comment of - "I am done," Is great! It fills me with hope! How many times do I find the easy way might be to say: "I am done" but I know I am not, The 3 vows and the Redemptorist 4th vow of Perseverance reminds me that "I am never done, suffering happens but "I am not done " I need to keep moving forward.
As I wrote before, doctors let me suffer for 2 weeks with infected teeth before prescribing an antibiotic!! ( immediately after recovering from cov19)!!
I have a status of mother Mary I'm my room in my assisted living facility& people hide me " where is this God of YOURS "??
I just smiled in my eminence paid, said, " I am not God ""!!
' God's will be done "!!
Can you praise our lord jesus christ when your in tremendous pain???
Now you know how much you love jesus christ!!!
Very encouraging. I had never thought about patience as a supernatural virtue before….a gift of grace. I have experienced the peace of surrender so I know it the only way to endure. This helped me to formulate an aspiration, to utter a quick prayer in the moment….sometimes moment by moment, by saying “it is the lord”when im overcome by anxiety over the trials. The battle against self pity, and anxiety and despair can be won this way, I believe it. They key it seems to me is simply to trust god has allowed therefore he will bring good out of it, for he is good and able to redeem all things. This trust gives us an ability to accept, have peace and HOPE in Him. I know this is just a season and I can see it as an opportunity to grow in patience. the second time I watched, I realized why St James says rejoice in your sufferings! They are tremendous opportunities to grow in our love of God. In these confusing times in the world and especially in the church God is raising up people with strength to endure! Thanks for this Ken!
I’m a senior citizen and all alone now.
How do I have patience with two grown adult children who have made a total mess of their lives and are skipping and dancing their way to destruction and hell before my very eyes, and they’re only getting worse?
I hate to admit it, but I’m starting to lose the meaning of patience because I don’t know what else to do and to watch this day after day is heart wrenching. I’m not sure if this is what you’re calling self-pity or just the concern for the souls of my children.
I’m sure there’s somebody out there in my situation that could maybe give me some help because I’ve exhausted every possibility that I could think of between prayer, and talking to priests, I don’t know what else to do, and to be all alone with this makes it even more lonely and painful.
I understand this pain. We must never image we care more for the salvation of our children’s souls than God does. Sadly, we bind Gods power when we appropriate to ourselves his saving power and love. The most powerful and helpful thing we can do for our lost loved ones is love God more, trust him, accept all things as from him. Only when we surrender and give it over to him do we make room for his power.
Thank you Ken..God bless you.
🙏🙏🙏
Thanks Ken! Will we see Jesus in our Sufferings or let Suffering take Control of our life's 🙏📿
😇
Great analogy!!!
I wish I had some money to give my children, the experiences that you give your children. Braces, skiing lessons are with a large family. We have a large family, but we can’t afford any of this. We struggle and no one helps us.
The most important things you can ever give your children is You. Your love, your time, your attention and teaching them to live good Catholic lives, loving God and leading them to heaven. Creating loving memories doesn't cost a thing. ❤
Thank you!
can you do some mental prayer sessions where you guide?
When it comes to physical suffering or even mental, is it wrong for us to try to change the situation? Like right now I am sleeping horribly and my whole body is suffering with pain due to lack of sleep and hurt muscles. I went to the doctor and was told I can start physical therapy. Does this go against God’s will if he wants me to suffer
He didn't even spare His beloved sinless Mother from pain, suffering, poverty and many works. If He and His mum lived like that, who are we to expect a red carpet in life?
