I love Shun he is so retable in some way lets be honest he someway carried the show with his honest persanality and moods ( I found him so funny and kinda endearing he give such a black cat energy who needs lot's of love ) and Dai is just so loving and cute amazon forest, his EQ and loyalty towards Shun is so attractive they match eachother so well, I am sure half of people watching to see if they ended up together or not Shun mood keep us all in edge atp better then some dramas 😂

I'm so glad you got it, that Shun was saying don't tell me but show me and then Dai started doing that 😂. I had to rewatch it and it clicked what he meant when Shun smiled when Dai didn't go with Ikou to the truck.

Dai not being on the attack like you said probably has more to do with Shun's personality than anything else. I think by the time of this episode he knew him well enough to know that he would completely shut down, probably worse than he had until now, if he were to push too hard.
I felt shun when he didn’t raise his hand, when I get overwhelmed I shut down when my mind space gets clouded. I completely got it, i just wish that shun could go with dai and explain why his mood may be altered. Or not go and explain to dai why he didnt wanna go.

I think like he said before because of his upbringing he just doesn't know how to communicate. He's trying to convince himself that he's not into Dai but he was clearly still interested once he had some space. It was probably the clumsiest way to ask for space combined with him telling himself that since they're so different from one another it would never work out between them.
I watched his full reaction on Patreon and the reason for this is that Shun said "Let's be friends" to slow down as Dai was moving too fast for Shun. TrollTek said that Shun could have word it better but knowing how Shun is, it's not that easy for him to communicate. The reason Shun is right here is because is that Dai acted as if he was interested in Shun but then he started showing interest in someone else. So from Shun's perspective Dai's words and actions don't align.
All the 'like' were translated as 'love', which while have the same romantic intonation doesn't have the exact same meaning. So yeah, when they confess or whatever please remember that they're saying the word 'like' not 'love' as translated XD.

I agree. I don’t understand the weird surge of Shun die-hards bombarding reactors. Not all relationship flaws are lovable and endearing, even if we can understand his personal reasoning sometimes. It’s totally unfair.
When Ikuo confessed to Kazuto, I agreed with the panel. "好きになってもいいですか。(Is it okay for me to like you)" Is such a weird and like... ugh question to ask directly. // btw suki can mean both love and like depending on context so it might of been translated weird... I noticed the last episode at the picnic when Ryouta was like "I could never be in this situation" in regards to Shun watching Dai and Ikuo... in Japanese he said something a little more powerful lol "kuso muri"

When I watched this on my own, I didn't think shun needed to apologize for not raising his hand, however you pointing out how bad it would go if the roles were reversed made me change my mind.
About Ikuo's name, maybe if you try taking the initial pronunciation of the word "cute". Think it kinda like 'e-cute' and cut out the "te" part. Maybe it will help you with his name. Sorry if this didn't help, but since English is not my native tongue it is a little difficult for me trying to think of a way to help you with that. 😅
You know I really love DaiShun..but still in real life and in this show everything was and is going according to Shun..🥹.. but if they are happy it’s okay .. and I really hope you mention about these things ..coz mostly people ignore all this coz they love Shun

I’ve learned that when it comes to Shun u have to keep a very open mind. Dai was showing his love for Shun thru physical affection and time spent together. It got to a point where he was doing a bit too much for Shun. At that point Shun probably just wanted to hear the words “I like u” from Dai so that he could be assured in their relationship. Then the physical aspect of their relationship could move at a slower pace that was more comfortable to Shun. When Shun said “your words and actions don’t match” he was probably saying Dai had yet to show him that he was willingly to adjust his pace to Shun’s. (That’s just my take but you are very much entitled to ur own opinion😊)

@@Greywaren96 I totally agree with u on that. I try to give Shun grace tho bc we don’t see everything that happened in the house. I also don’t think Shun was necessarily saying Dai did smth wrong. Shun has been hurt a lot in the past and in order to fully open up to Dai he has to know for sure that he can trust him and be comfortable with him. I will say that atp i don’t think Shun was being fully honest with himself or Dai about why he was actually upset. In the last episode during their confession scene i think Shun did a good job of explaining his thought process and why he was so difficult. (I’d also like to think they discussed it even more off camera lol)

There are different levels of "Like" in Japanese.
Suki = like
Daisuki = really like
Ai = love
Koi = really love
And from what I've gathered, they used "suki" between Ikuo & Kazuto, so it's "like" not "love".

Honestly I find Shun very hard to understand. I get he is insecure, he is not very open with his emotions etc. I do get that and respect that BUT he is just expecting Dai to do all the work. In the end Dai doesn't really need to prove himself. He is always walking on eggshells around Shun, always having to be careful of his mood swings etc. They just met, it is just a dating show. Shun may be cute and he may be interesting but I would have lost my interest after a while. All these ups and downs, the whole "it's a hassle" in front of everyone after being close, all this would be a big red flag for me. If one ask someone to always prove his affection/want via actions then that person should do the same. I was really annoyed with him this episode 😡😡 Sry for the rant
Shun said in an unreleased clip that it takes forever for him to go from 0 to 1 (almost impossible) where 0 is no relationship, 50 is dating and 100 is marriage. But he quickly escalates from 1 to 50. Knowing that I think it makes sense in a way to how cautious he is when he's interested in someone so he doesn't get hurt. I wish they had kept this on the show. This does not excuse his actions, but I really feel like all his lashing out was A) due to his childhood and B) him battling between really liking Dai and not feeling safe enough to trust him yet.

Dai didn't do anything wrong but from Shun's perspective he is correct. Dai was showing him interest and when someone new came he "moved" on so his actions and words don't match. In this case no one was wrong but both perspective can be correct. Also Shun is like this because of his past and he is fairly young. He didn't have the best relationships as he dated men in their late 28-30 when he was 18-20. If he was older, he would be more mature but he was only 23 and some might be mature at that age while others take more time
