- This is going to turn into an increasingly normal "Let's Play" now - still aimed to explain mechanics, but trying to focus more on pure gameplay with each passing video.

New to the channel? I do Let's Play videos -- these are like walkthrough guides of gameplay with continuous English commentary trying to explain my decisions and what strategy I use. If you're looking for hacks or cheats, you're in the wrong place!
Diplomacy for 120 Influence be like:
"Just say no. People can't hate you if you don't agree to it."
120 culture per turn in one click 😂
Ok they need to add spending attribute points into the bottom right button. Will be interesting to see if you still have those unspent points or if they were wasted.
Same with commander promotions. There needs to be more clarity of when you've got a promotion to slot in.
11:40 Tool tip likely is showing the delta, including the -2 happiness and -2 food per specialist. Goal seems to be only about production regardless of the delta
Hi Martin!
I'm loving the music in this game!
26:27 That is a treasure fleet you are putting on wait Quill! not an actual ship
Keep em coming!!!
I feel like this entire Exploration era has been diplomatically boring. :/ We seemed to do so much with our neighbors in the Antiquities era, whereas since advancing it's just been mindlessly clicking the occasional popup to accept or support some agreement getting renewed. Independent peoples just take a passive influence drain and give you the occasional bonus, and other leaders, as I mentioned, just keep renewing the same agreements over and over with no real thought. Trade of resources is supposedly occurring, but is so backend-ed that I barely notice, with no other interesting trade happening at all.
I that that might be because he didn't really explore in the Exploration age. He killed the green faction, but his other neighbor is to bro to start shit.
Idk, i guess i might be proven wrong next episode, but i don't think he achieved much either.
Hey Quill, are you going to build any walls on your cities and towns? I noticed the only ones that have them are ones you got during a war.
36:20 eww, the repairs don't all sort to the TOP of the buildings list?
nice
Anyone feel the game is bogging down at this point?
I would need city governors at this point.
