Thank you! I'm just learning this myself and thought maybe I had misunderstood what he was saying in the video. Other than this one error I thought the video was very interesting and informative.
You are completely right, we made a mistake. Thanks for pointing it out to us! Unfortunately RUclips removed the annotation system so we can't fix it, but we put a note in the description. Good luck with the learning, Cheers!
Yes we finally got around to it! ruclips.net/video/2r6OZD5n-wc/видео.html We plan to do a UTF video at some point in the future which is a little more specific to the encoding schemes. Let us know what you think and we'll be sure to review it while we're working on the next Unicode related video.
As number are tagged with texts.. and based on a combination of number we get a certain text.. I'm curious to understand how and what is the machine that initially understand if certain number is certain text and then how is it displayed in a certain way. If computer just understand 0 and 1. How is the shape "A" for example arrived at. My question might be extremely basic. But just curious to understand 😊
thank you for telling me this very unseful information, i saw this in a documentary which is called "d.b cooper, where are you?" and they solved the case by using this method
FINALLY a simple and good explanation of the ASCII table. THANK YOU !
Concision and precision exemplified. Nice!
Wow such a clean and neat thumbnail and title. Loved it
Thanks for helping me with my homework!
what kind of homework?
wait what
Computer homework
Someone help me out here. In the video, they show 10000001 as representing "A". But that is actually decimal 129 not 65. Am I wrong?

Thank you! I certainly wasn't trying to point out that you were wrong, just wanting to clarify for my own understanding.
You are confusing hex with decimal
Thanks for the info, keep up the good work!
thank you for taking part
really informative, thanks :)

32 or 64 bit which do you flip to get from lowercase to upper case i am confused
Sooo,ASCII are use to represent the characters right?
The character are made with 16*8 or 8*8 pixel for example.

7 bits for ASCII from 0 - 127 and 1 bit (the most significant bit) for extended ASCII from 128 - 255.
Where ASCII table is storage .?
we used this vid. for korean student's online class lol
Thanks u helped me alot
i thought that those characters defined in binary code?
hey how's it going
This looks like a complex secret language that can be used for private chats033
I suppose it could be. Just be aware it's very easy to reverse direction by encoding or decoding!
whos only here for homework lol.

Thumbs up if you ever thought the two I's in ASCII were a Roman numeral and ASCII was the second version of some ASC system.
