Good job. Don't worry about the quality of the equipment. Just know that many people with the best quality equipment usually forget to bring it along. In the end, all that will matter is what is on your person.
Where did you put the welds? I have 2 of these knives..One is an earlier model and the handle is some kind of brass/bronze alloy.(I sanded off the silver paint to find this out). And the newer one is Aluminum. I thought about tack welding too but I got 2 different metals on both knives..
In retrospect this knife is a real piece of junk The steel has discolored after stirring a couple of campfires and the handle will eventually fall apart For the money its a great backyard chopping tool. it can eventually become an improvised spear but never a primary survival knife
I have one and you really need to through drill it and drive a pin all the way through .11/64" drill bit,3/16" pin..Freeze the pin and warm up the hole..Use some Green loctite on everything before putting the knife together...The set screw setup sucks..
Good job, well done video. Nice application with the Altoids kit, and sheath liner. Did you use an empty motor oil jug for the liner? Keep up the good work.

Maybe it is zink?
100mph tape makes duct tape sound sooo much cooler.

Train tickets?
I'm trying to find plastic tube to insert into handle, like a medicine bottle. The high end ones have that.
Iike what you did with it.
