Is there any other animal you'd like to learn about? Reply with your request and I will make the video.

The breeding programs at many zoos were a large part in the success at bringing the condor population back up, and I've never seen them in the wild, but seeing them at the Oregon Zoo growing up is how I learned about their miraculous comeback. Species repopulation efforts are part of why I'll always support well-managed and intentioned zoos and wildlife parks. Great video for a quick and informative overview

It’s amazing to see us save a species from the brink of extinction 👌🏼

Yes, for now! Hopefully we can get to a point where we no longer need to monitor them.

Excellent documentary👏. Excellent reintroduction 👌,Yes those modern windmills kill quite a lot of big birds here in Europe too. 😭Seems it s possible to put a kind of sensor on these mills in order to stop to move immediately when the sensor is warning about an approach of a bird.Where we are waiting for? Matter of money again?? NO PRICE TO SAFE WILDLIFE.. SOS. Merci from France

Thank you! We could definitely put a sensor inside once it becomes cheap enough. Hopefully that happens soon. France has some great wildlife policies they are starting to implement, more so than the rest of the G7 so hopefully we follow your lead!

So berry roo! California Condor's like many vulture like birds are berry outrageous yet berry pleasing. Blueberry pleasing. Furthermore, I am very pleased about this outcome. Not every species may be a keystone species or alpha predator. Yet we have overwhelming evidence of the benefits of biodiversity in a given ecosystem. Awe & some.

I agree! Biodiversity has many unseen benefits, especially when it comes to lesser known species that aren't an alpha or keystone. Well said.
