It's been a cold wet spring here in CT and with the State on lockdown, I can't even go to my favorite fly shop so I am making do with what I have. Needs to warm up a little and the flows on the streams I fish, need to drop a little. Should be great by mid- may!

    Good stuff in tricky conditions. I fished that spot 3 times this season after it had a lot of pressure. It was fun seeing such enormous fish (one or 2 must have been 20lb) but was only able to secure one 14lber on a size 16 EHC.....could not believe the condition of these mouse eaters. Be interesting to see what they will be like next season with less international pressure.

      @mikefsher 4 года назад +1
