Actually if u want to be in the field of biotechnology....then PhD is required for getting something better but if u want to switch to another option then I will suggest to go for any professional degree like MBA, B.Ed, etc for getting job opportunities... because after MSc biotech there will not be any job except some project related work for 1-2 years only...
