Here it is, an elevator tour of ALL the new working Mitsubishi elevators at Grand Indonesia!
In March 2023, one of each elevator bank at Grand Indonesia was boarded off for "upgrading" (replacement) work. The brand that was doing the modernization work wasn't known until late June 2023, where the call stations and hall indicators were installed. On 18 July 2023, the AP3 (Seibu) elevator was turned on and the remaining Hyundai elevator was immediately turned off. On 22 July 2023, the remaining solid elevators were turned on too, and the next elevator in each bank (except the BP3 bank, where one was already replaced by Fujitec in 2018 due to an accident) was immediately worked on, and the replacement work is still ongoing. It's likely the work will only be completed by early 2024, as each elevator took about 3 or 4 months.
Must say the replacement elevators are very nice, with good accessibility (disability panel and AAN-G voiceovers!), though I do wish that the cabs were decorated a bit more as they're just metal right now.
Many of you may notice that the BP1/scenic elevator bank is missing. Is that getting upgraded too?
Well, yes! It is. But by a different brand.

Replacement, not a mod. If it was a mod, the original cab, door tracks, and some equipment would still remain. Plus, Mitsubishi can't mod older non-Mitsubishi elevators (their modernization model, ELEMOTION, is only compatible with older Mitsubishi branded elevators)
