I have never heard of, let alone witnessed, a baseball game end with the score tied, bases LOADED, and the winning move was a walk... a 'Ring Around The Rosie' march from third to home plate! What a way to end a game... and each UCLA player probably needs counseling. I have watched many games at GOSS, hung around watching the teams get their gear, take photos with fans, etc, and game three of UCLA was the only time I have seen the opposing team fly, like a bat out of hell, into their bus and split within ten minutes of the end of the game.
A good friend Al Einstein once profoundly told me, "you can't hit, if you don't swing ". Looks like someone is green lighting the Beavs, instead of playing the "trying not to lose " game of stupid "analytics ". The beaver bat's can outhit the bad fielding and poor middle relief pitching. BEAVS TO OMAHA ❤
Not so sure about that. As big of a BEAV fan as there is. But we got swept at Cal and lost to the Cougs….we seem more like the teams we best to win the first two Natty’s, good hitting and ok pitching and defense. Like they say, defense wins championships. Just concerned about playing better teams where we will need solid pitching and much better defense.
@@kdrbeav The pitching leaves much to be desired. The offense is certainly a factor to count on, but if pitching remains unreliable and defense as a whole stays lackluster, the Beavs will have a tough time even steeping foot in Omaha. Regardless, this is the most fun baseball season I've payed attention to. My family and I love our Beavers.
