    (grabs your typical Bic ballpoint) "Uh Craig, can you fix this?" Outstanding servicing and wonderful editing skills!

    Beautiful job! I've never been that interested in vintage pens, but I think I'll start looking into them. Thanks.

    Thanks for a great video. Good job! I've been restoring vintage fountain pens for 25 years now. I have a lot of Waterman parts. If I can ever help you out, please let me know. Happy New Year. 😊

      Would a q-tip with rubbing alcohol have helped soften up the gunk and dried ink?

    • @CraigRoccanova
      @CraigRoccanova  Год назад

      @@davidmurphy9049 I would probably keep any harsh chemicals or alcohol away from the pen since it's just vulcanized hard rubber

      @@CraigRoccanova I used just the tip of the q-tip to remove unwanted paint on old models. It's tedious, but you just slowly dissolve the paint on the model. I'd imagine the ink might be the same, but definitely be careful with the old rubber. Good job though and must've been very rewarding!👍👍

    Hi Craig. Really great video. Can I ask what the grooves on the pen are for? You have coloured them in with the china markers but other than decorative I could not discern a utility. I don’t see these grooves often in any pen and to see you have two was most interesting feature.

      It’s an employee or demo pen! So the lines were there so that you knew it wasn’t a model that was for sale!

      @@CraigRoccanova Wow. That makes this pen exceptionally unique in that case - interesting that this is the way the company would deem a pen not for sale - thanks for the explanation - very interesting feature.
