'If' they DON'T use the opportunity to show 'something' during RAW on Netflix it will tell us everything we need to know about WWE 2K25, the WWE 2K Devs, and the future of the series going forward IMO.. They HAVE to do something!! Marketing and hype is MASSIVE for a new game these days and the past games' hype was way too short (2 months) so they can't miss this opportunity!!
I agree this would be amazing with the attitude era promo on Instagram with the classic thorn in your eye. Perhaps it’s alluding to an attitude era game ? ( I know 13 did it already) . I don’t think if there isn’t a commercial come Monday on Raw that it is indicative that the game will be bad. It just might not be working for the timeline that they roll out content.

I don’t really care about the cover star, but I would be shocked if it isn’t CM Punk, but Roman would make sense, too. I hope theres enough backlash (no pun intended) to unlock everything & not force players to do showcase & my rise which have ridiculous objectives that have nothing to do with the matches. Combos, & telling us to grab a compass with northwest corner, etc. I believe they promoted the guy who does showcase Unless they make major improvements to gameplay as far as realistic wrestling (sim), I’ll wait until it comes to PS+ or Game Pass. Body Damage or I’m out! I’m done with this series if they keep adding MK levitation paybacks as I like wrestling in my wrestling game. If 2K doesn’t do some kind of trailer would be marketing malpractice, imho.

Remember it’s takes 2K at least 3 months to make a new WWE game and slap $69.99 for the copy & paste base game all the way up to $119.99 we know minimal increments will be made for 2K25 and since they will never abandoned last gen consoles these games won’t ever get anywhere near the potential it should be at.

I’m probably gonna wait to see how the game is on RUclips reviews first before purchasing. Do that every year. That’s why I skipped 23 and just stuck with 22 then I got 24 after a couple months. I just know that WWE2K25 will basically be another copy and paste with an updated roster. As for new modes. I don’t think we’ll get any seeing as MyFaction has been a big cashgrab. Honestly. I did not do universal smoke this year because I was focused on myfaction to get persona cards. For this year keep the persona cards but allow you people to edit the characters attires. Do you think that's a good idea Bryan?
All 2K have to do is copy and paste everything they did in WWE2K14 Story Designer mode. And implement it in WWE2K25. 🤷 2K14 Story Designer was perfect. so it shouldn't be that difficult. But if the mode is bare bones. IDC, I'm happy we will get it back, hopefully.
You know for them to do that they would have to get rid of a lot of the game modes? They can’t just copy and paste from 2K14 as the new games run on a newer engine from the previous Xbox 360/ps3 era games. So I don’t think that’s possible.

I have 2 men and 1 woman for the covers, the 2 men I think Roman should be the main cover as the game’s showcase or whatever mode should be focused on him. CM punk being the other man but not on the same cover, both solo covers. And I think Liv Morgan has actually earned to be on the cover, she is the MVP of the women’s Divison in 2024 ( I just typed 2K24 😭 )
i doubt it be down to 2k to shock us by showing at raw, itll be WWEs desicion surely and theres no reason for story mode to be bare bones. they have the building blocks by just looking back at wwe 14 (i think was the last one) and they could have been working on it a couple years.
Sadly im not even excited for this game. I will not be paying $16 to support Netflix (don't like the company) so won't be watching nearly as much WWE. And frankly, I don't think they will do much. It will be more gameplay adjustments. Small changes to the modes and casino mode will get full attention. Been playing sports games long enough to read the writing on the wall. Hope I'm wring, but unlikely. Haven't even touched 2k24 since July. Maybe a quick match here or there. But no real time spent playing it. But still watch the content and holding out a little hope

Story mode would have me hooked. But the best quality of life for me would be assigning the unique reversals and pins animations to our CAWs

I would like to see two showcase modes this year one on Roman Reigns and The second on The Rock.
For WWE 2K25 get to keep the special referee, but add special referee in stipulation matches not just regular singles back.
