can you do a combo guide for jun too? i want to learn her but your combo videos are the best and most intuitive for me to learn with because you point out easy and staple combos that most people don't include in their videos!
How would you recommend learning Alisa? Do I just pick 1-2 normal hit combos and 1-2 low hit combos, lab them and test them out in real matches? I have learned the basics like destructive, boot, backup and a couple standard moves, but no combos yet.
Yes, that looks like a plan. In my opinion, you want to know how you will be going to land the launcher. I guess choose your fav launchers first and figure out how you can land it. (After sidestepping, after a move, etc). The low hit launcher of Alisa is slow, use it rarely but it is as important to know.
I struggle so much with the WS section of the combos. Is there like an easier input other than crouching and standing? Sometimes moves put you in that position automatically. I just struggle so much doing it in a fight.
For Alisa, it is a high, so maybe very rarely, you'll condition your opponent to get scared of ducking since you spammed mid moves. Also for those who don't know the move, they'll try to just press back and block it so you can try it sometimes.
May I ask you a question? how come every time I try to finish a longer combo with " uf1 f4 ---> f1". The target is always so fast away which f1 always miss. When I just do "uf1 f4 ---> f1"alone, f1 wont miss
My kingdom for notation in the vid description 🙏 I love these videos but they would be so much more helpful if the combos were in text in the description or on a Google doc. I have to pause the video on the combo to be able to practice each option.
Any while standing move? Oh I didn't that d df f1 was a thing.. For any while standing, i just press down, release and do the command immediately.. Try this: after release of the down button, press the next command immediately, followed by the next set of commands..
@@TeckenArmory Thank you for the reply! This is my first Tekken, so I'm still a bit confused lol. I will definitely try your way and see if it works better for me!
@@michealkelly9441 sorry for the late reply, the youtube studio doesn't show the tagged comments so just saw this.. After uf 44 and see that it is successful, I immediately press down and do the WS combo.
just a sugestion, the imput that you name "while standing" the game naturali calls it "while rising" i know is kinda the same, but maybe it would be better to use the same in game language, so there is no confusions for the new ones
Thanks for the suggestion but someone commented that it's better to use while standing not rising to avoid confusion. So I decided to add both on the section title but I'll add notes on the description that while standing = while rising for the notations.
@@TeckenArmory The term most commonly used among tekken players is actually “Spike.” Also calling a combo that isn’t max damage “Optimal” is a little counterintuitive, most people use the term “BnB / Bread ‘n Butter” to refer to easy and consistent / reliable (usually close to max damage) combos.
@@2Namii yes, the "go near enemy + 233" part makes the next ones inconsistent.. you can try ws 1 2 instead of 233.. I'll try it too later when I get home.
Why are you not finishing the FLY 1,2,1,3+4 ender and just doing FLY 1,2? This video is still more helpful than any other I've seen because of the added inputs.
It's for oki, because ending it with that leaves the opponent unable to do any of the quick getups. For example you can try doing b 44 combo again after fly 12, and if they decide to use any wakeup kicks, they will be comboed again.
I can’t get the “while standing” part at combo at 0:47 . Can you explain to me the button inputs more? I have tried quick and I’ve tried waiting a bit. Did the moves change or something?
Sooo grateful for your video. I’m currently trying to learn taken and it’s become very difficult because I find it hard to retain so much info but color coded notation help sooo much🥲❤️
The inputs, plus being color-coded, is SO incredibly helpful. Thank you so very much!
Glad it was helpful!
this is literally the best guide I have seen. thank you for actually putting the input instead of just training mode.
Thank you too for watching and commenting!
This is the best guide i ever seen

Yes, usually I do the WS moves after moves that you on crouch.. for Alisa: back 1, down back 3, down 1(crouch/dck jab), down 3, etc
The inputs is so helpful thank you, i want to main her since Tekken 7 but have no idea whats the best move
Thank you too for watching! I'm not super sure these are the best, in game I usually do the easy ones or the ones I'm consistent in performing.
I learned alot in this vid! But is it actually viable to land those unblockables?
For Alisa, it is a high, so maybe very rarely, you'll condition your opponent to get scared of ducking since you spammed mid moves.
Also for those who don't know the move, they'll try to just press back and block it so you can try it sometimes.
Excellent...thank you...just to add, it's fantastic to be mentored by someone who sounds just like Lara Croft. Added bonus 👍😀😁
New to tekken and don't really undertstand the layout. Which colors are AXYB in relation to an xbox controller?
No need to remember the colors, the 4 positions should still be the same whether it's xbox, ps5 or arcade stick. Just remember the positions.
May I ask you a question? how come every time I try to finish a longer combo with " uf1 f4 ---> f1". The target is always so fast away which f1 always miss. When I just do "uf1 f4 ---> f1"alone, f1 wont miss
I think you'll need to wait a bit longer when she's flying before you use the F1.
Thank you, let me try again!

Has the combo at 0:47 changed? After i finish her while standing string she doesn’t pull out her blades and wings… wierd
Oh sorry I'm late. I'll try testing later.
In some combo's you have spark/groundbreak, what does spark mean exactly? I cant really find a good answer so im still a little confused.
Not sure if that's the proper term, but if you end your combo with that type of move, they cannot do any quick get-ups (quick rolls, quick wakeup).

A better Combo for db1,3 is:
DB+1,3 - Run - df+1,1 - uf+1 - Dualboot - f+1
This will give you around 80 DMG
Thanks! I will try this out!
you can end in another uf+1 after the first to get 85dmg instead of 81

I’ve gotten a bunch of different results, but not what is shown in the video
Do I have to press a direction or release all?
It looks like she’s ducking in the video
Yes, while standing / while rising means that you down (duck) first, release down, then do the moves while the character is standing/rising up.
You can also B , 4 into F3, F1 as a finisher
Thanks! will try this out later
@@TeckenArmory I meant B4, 4 sorry!
Another one I like using is UF4,4, WS 1,2,3, B2,3, UF1. Your guide is amazing thank you so much 🫶🏻
First combo isn’t while standing it’s while rising for 1 2 3
thats how people call it - WS, rarely someone use wr
Your inputs are wrong to go destructive move after up forward 1 is forward 4 not forward 3
Hi, you can use either forward 3 or 4
