Elephant Butte. Weren't you there a few years ago ?! And I absolutely love the father son relationship - how you guided Littleman from his stove top perch, to the sofa and then the floor ..
Back in 2018......usually go to the same parks each year!!👍

John, how many feet is it from the S/panels to the S/Generator that you can extend? (charge)
GREAT VIDEO, BET Y'ALL REALLY ENJOYED THE DAY!
I have 20 ft. Extention......
Good job but ... you just said you have the New Mexico State Park Pass and you can camp for free and then said you only paid $10.00 for the site at Elephant Butte ....as far as I know once you buy that yearly New Mexico State Park Pass you don't pay a fee for dry camping in any New Mexico State Park .. unless you want an electric site which only costs $4.00 a day ...so did they change their policy or did you just misspeak
$10.00 if You don't have the pass.....those site are $10.00 sites. Hoped that cleared it up for You!!👍
You see any 100 year Scotch in the General Store?
Nope...HaHa!!!👍
Very nice video John and little man thank you guys

Beautiful area John looks like a great place to camp.
Cool place to see. Thanks for taking us along 😃
Love that log cabin 🤎🤎
Awesome
I’ve camped in New Mexico. My favorite was the Cloudcroft area. I liked the Oliver Lee state park. I boondocked around the Santa Fe area several times. I like most parts of New Mexico
Cool......yep pretty State a lot to see and do!!😀
Toward the end, the Statue of Liberty at the Lazy W Rest Ranch was really cool and I could easily park the motorhome under that massive car port. Cool stuff, thanks.
You do see some really cool stuff out here .......for sure!!!👍
One of the thing’s I miss is the smell of the desert. It’s something most people don’t notice but it’s like nowhere else. Thanks for the wonderful video’s ❤️ from Portugal.
Thank s... !!👍
Didn’t you say it’s usually $10 if you don’t have the pass and since you do have the pass it’s $10?
That's an old video.....$10.00 what?? Can't think that far back.....???????
Hi John looks like a early Bulldozer and some logging equipment!
Could be....good guess!!👍
John, a lot of the origanel heavy mining equipment was driven with a large belt, either from a tractor or a steam engine. Otto made a large one piston gas engine with the coffee grinder wheels on the side with a big belt pully on it. It was a make and break engine. I saw one at a silver mine above our base in Argentia, Newfoundland. It drove a crusher for the silver ore.
Cool....thanks for the knowledge!!👍
Working in Socorro NM bout an hour north elephant Butte is beautiful.
Stayed there back in 2018.....got the twin clock on tape!!👍
I'm been watching all your videos I think chloride the little general store museum probably was one of my favorites so far Gives us a taste of what it used to be like those items are priceless
It's all real too.....

Nice Scamp.... How does the rear part get supported, when it's not attached to your vehicle? Do you have tilt problems if you go to the back?
No it has legs that drop down but I've never put mine down. Most people do but I 've never had any trouble Not using them!!😄
@@myscamptraveltraileradvent1230 - Good to know that it's not a problem. Thanks for letting me/us know.
👍
Very pretty
Yep!!👍
Hi John, I enjoyed the video. I saw the beach and wondered is the water fit for a dip? Would you be allowed to take a swim?
I guess....don't really know??
@@myscamptraveltraileradvent1230 Hey John, Thanks for answering. I have another question regarding the bed in the scamp. I have bad back and I'l concerned about the quality of the cushions. Any thoughts to share or ideas?
I have 1 in. Foam ( very hard foam ) and a backpacking pad under mine.
You did a nice job on your video. You made a great tour guide. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. Stay safe.
Thanks!!👍
