    hey,
    I created a private replication instance and redshift as the target endpoint. They both are in the same account and VPC.
    But the test connection is failing. (It was successful when the replication instance was public).
    Getting this error:
    Test Endpoint failed: Application-Status: 1020912, Application-Message: N/A, Application-Detailed-Message: N/A

    Hi Vishwaraj, What would change in this solution if the source was OnPrem SQL instead of AWS RDS? Curious to see the thought process, thank you mate!

    What exact permissions does the DMS user connecting to redshift needs? I don't want to use the dba/superuser

    Thanks for the video. How you choose the storage for Replication instance? Is it based on the size of the log files been created?

      Yes, depends on your data which you are going to migrate plus cache storage doesnt take much space. For eg for 1 tb data 50 gib is enough.
