Im so happy it's here, this is my favorite song in the game. The change of tone at the beginning was amazing, sad and angry. Then it turns into unsureness and turns more upbeat and then completely excited and crazy. I love it when songs reflect the characters mood at that moment.
Honestly, I ADORED this fight. Just wading through an insane bullet-hell and refusing to fight back, the atmosphere and ESPECIALLY the music and execution were great. W game
GOD this game deserves way more attention than it has right now! the style, the characters, the overall message, and especially the musics are just so catchy, and it all comes together in this whole song. This game became one of my favorites of all time! btw, props to the VA's, without their energetic voice, im sure The Jester wouldnt be this incredible :)
Expected the 2nd jester song to come next but ok. If anyone was wondering I'm talking about the lyrics that weren't used in dance like an idiot [the lyrics jester sings when they try to convince dusty to join their side, to "light the fuse and blow our minds". The other lyrics in this song are from when the jester first learns about the cage, and personally is my favorite jester lyric for many reasons, "Unleash your limbs! - Break out of your cage! - Cave in or come out! - TODAY IS THE DAY!!!"
Can't wait for the "Yellow variant" of dance like an idiot [I call the heads red and yellow, yellow is the square one, and I consider the 1st one the red variant, the final battle/here is what I consider the reprise]

Though I have not beaten either of the Figment games, they quite easily have some of my favourite character arch's. Like in the first game you have Dusty growing back into his old shoes as the minds courage. But the arch for the Jester and Dusty in Figment 2: Creed Valley is insane. The way that Dusty starts off thinking of Jester as just a Nightmare, but soon realising how hes wrong and that the Jester is vital. Then how the Jester changes from Goofy, to understandably mad and aggravated for what may be the more impactful final fight Ive ever seen. The ending seems to pay off so well too. Seriously underrated as a game studio, and a franchise.
Honestly I kinda deduced the Jester wasn’t a Nightmare the second I heard Dance Like An Idiot, if they were really supposed to represent the fear of clowns like Dusty thought, then they’d be singing about that, like how The Plague sang about disease and the Spider Queen sang about spiders, meanwhile The Jester is singing about letting loose and dancing like an idiot
I love how The Jester's attacks keep going (arguably getting MORE energetic) as Dusty wins them over. The celebratory fireworks got just a little out of hand.

(Okay spoilers) Basically the jester was assumed to be a nightmare but he was actually a part of the mind the part that was care free and partying but when the human got a wife and kid there was no time to have fun only work so the jester was sick of it and wanted for thing to be like there before but dusty wouldn’t alow that
Honestly the whole song is good but i think it would be better if you would make a second version that doesn't have the part with dusty so that in the middle of the song there is another voice
