- Hey, everyone! Today's vlog is about our quick birthday weekend getaway to Taipei, Taiwan! While our first international trip this 2024 started off a bit problematic to the point wherein we almost didn't make it to our flight (we were stuck in line for 2 hours at the Immigration - hear more about it in my vlog!), the chilly weather, good food, and a bit of shopping made up for it! No trip to Taiwan is complete without the food trip. In this vlog, I'll be showing you my favorite street food, really good coffee at this cafe adjacent to this really nice breakfast place, and so much more!
If you enjoyed my vlog, please do check out my other videos. Don't forget to like, comment, share, and subscribe! As always, thank you!

Omgggg your video was a lifesaver! ♡ Super helpful tips, literally sinulat ko. Haha My kidd and I are planning a trip in April for her birthday. Quick question - suggestion on how much load I should get for the easy card for a 3days trip? Can you also share your itinerary if you don't mind. :))
Your comment 🥹 Thank you! I’m glad I could help! For the Easycard, initial top up was 200 NTD for the train from airport to city. Then on average, we would top up 100 NTD for Easycard per day more or less (we only used the Easycard for our train rides and once at the vending machine at the airport). I’ll try to share the itinerary as best as I can below!
1st day
- Arrival at Taoyuan Airport
- Dropped of luggage at hotel
- Yehliu Geopark (10am Klook tour call time)
- Shifen Old Street
- Shifen Waterfalls
- Jiufen Old Street (end of Klook tour - drop off at Raohe Night Market)
2nd day
- Chiang Kai Shek Memorial
- Taipei 101 Observatory (ticket via Klook)
- Ten Thousand Cafe
- Taipei Restaurant Bus (ticket via Klook)
- Ximending - they have Don Quijote here, too!
3rd day (free day - originally planned to go to Alishan but we kinda wanted to just chill instead)
- Liang Su Breakfast (recommended!!)
- Summer Savage Coffee (really good coffee!)
- Simple Kaffa Huashan Flagship Store (personally you can skip or disregard this one!)
- Ximending for some shopping
- Raohe Night Market
4th day
- Early call time to head to airport
Awwwe. 💕 Tysm for sharing your itinerary, really appreciate it! 😭 I'm soo excited to try and fit in everything you recommended. More power on your channel! ✨ @@robbyrecto

Hi! Thank u for subtitles !! Enjoyed the vlog! May l know how much was the router?
The 4G router with unlimited data was around 100 NTD per day via Klook. Thanks for stopping by! 🤗
Taiwan in the north part rains a lot in winter
Ang ganda ng vlog 🩷 we will go there next week po kaya super helpful po nito. How much po pala mga NB shoes niyo po? 😊
I appreciate it! 🥹 Enjoy your trip! We bought the shoes at srp!
Hi! How did you book your tour? Can you give me some information please? What did you do with your carry on luggage while touring?
Hi! We booked the tour via Klook! For the carry on luggage, we dropped them off at the hotel before going to the designated meet up place. But if you don’t have time to do that, you can bring it with you and and store it in the bus while you’re touring 😊
Hello! What time niyo na claim ung sa wifi Klook? If flight is 10:40, so nag land kau sa Taiwan ng midnight? Papunta rin kasi ako this May 2-7 and same flight 10:40 Im wondering if I can just order sim sa Lazada
Hi! We arrived at the airport at around 1am. The Klook stall at the arrival area doesn’t open until like 5-6am so we had to wait for a few hours 😅 We had nowhere to go at midnight so we only slept for a while at the airport before we left for the tour! About 5 devices can connect to the wifi router with unlimited data. But a sim is just as good!
@@robbyrecto thank you.. as for the cam.. I know you're using go pro? Any cons? Kasi I'm planning a dji pocket 2..and software to edit video Po Anong gamit niyo? :)
@@heyitsjonna For the cam, I use GoPro 11. It’s super handy and easy to use. Downside to it though is the mic if you’re talking behind the cam and if shooting with low light (but this part is not too bothersome). For the editing software, Adobe Premiere or Capcut which is easier to use.
Going to taiwan din ako sa May 14-18 10:40 pm flight first time as solo traveler and to celebrate may bday alone 😂. Ask lng ako kung compatible ba ang sim card nila dun sa unit ng phone dito sa pinas.
@@lawrencesalvador8807Hi! As far as I know, most sim cards would work on all iPhone / Android phones. There are Taiwan sim cards in Shopee that have good reviews when I checked 😊
may i know what camera u using ?
Hi, I use GoPro 11 😊
Milk tea 😋
The besttt ♥️
