I’m so envious of your truck. I’ve got a ‘96 FLD, but it’s the 112 version and a smaller flat top. Smaller engine because it’s an FLD-112. I love the cab, though. I’ve been looking for a long time for exactly what you’ve got. One day. One day. Lol
@@truckingwithfitz3399 mine is the 3176. By all accounts, it’s a horrible engine, although mine was excellent. It is underpowered, but adequate. It ran relatively trouble free for almost two million miles. In that time, I replaced the oil cooler, the water pump, and the injectors, and the fan clutch solenoid. That’s it. It finally lost a cam follower, which I’m told is the common failure point. I don’t know if that engine gets a bad rap, or if I was just lucky. I’ve had other trucks since then, but I’ve always missed the comfort of that cab. It’s got a lot of foot room. I just miss driving it. I’m torn between finding a C-12 to put in it, or trying to find a 120 FLD with a midroof. Yours is exactly what I’d like to find.
@TruckPilotNate have that exact truck mines a 94 fld120 same color with detroit 60 love its a spare truck for me but everytime I run it have people wanting to buy it
@@MrSehka77 I’ll bet it’s a great truck. My FLD-112 was my first truck. I bought it in ‘99. I used it as a spare for years after I stopped running it exclusively. Now I just want to put it back on the road because I miss it. I’ll admit to having an unhealthy emotional attachment to it. Made a lot of money and had a lot of fun in that thing when I was in my twenties. Lol
@@truckpilotnate2972 yes its great truck , white exterior all leather black interior in good shape all original detroit 60 with a 9 speed but it run 80-85mph on the highway great mileage runs very good but it's a spare truck for me so don't use as much as I would want
My Fld with the 525 Cummins never left me stranded.
