No try and keep it frozen the whole day. Once it thaws out it becomes mushy and falls off super easily. I take a small cooler with me and keep it in there with ice packs!! Great question!!💪🏼
That is awesome thank you so much!! I really appreciate the support!! Get out and try new things and I’m sure you’ll be a better fisherman than I am!!💯
Depends on the time of year. This time of year it’s almost tougher on soldier creek side depending on the spot. The fish have moved up more shallow now-so the depth of soldier creek isn’t super beneficial.
1/8 oz head early in the morning. Casting out, getting slack out and reeling in immediately. With that light weight head the tube is only a few feet below the surface!
Good job man . I was there last Friday, unfortunately I haven't found chub meat at sportsman's warehouse. I just used worms with kaitech and tubes but it's not the same. Bobbers are always good though. Cheers 😉.
Ya the chubs are hard to come by. My second best go to would be sucker meat-there is no shortage of that!! Glad you were able to get into them!! I appreciate the support!💪🏼
Sportsmans Warehouse in Midvale, UT has chub meat in stock in three different sizes: whole fish 5-7 inches, minnows 2-3 inches, and filets. Prices for each are the same at $3.99/package. I stocked up and didn't put a dent in what they had. Snooze, you lose.

I usually try to fish just off the bottom. I’ll let it sink and hit bottom. Then reel just fast enough that I’m not completely dragging. I do lose a fair bit of gear, I’m not gonna lie!!😂
Yessir it was a fantastic day! We found them in more shallow water on the soldier creek side. I would imagine that it will be fairly similar all over the lake. They will be moving shallow looking to fatten up before the winter. Look for spots that have a drop off near shore-they sit there looking to ambush minnows!
Thanks for sharing going camping up there Today. I hope I have half the luck as you.
Get em Big Al!! I’m excited for you!💪🏼
Sight fish so awesome
Can’t beat it-it is my favorite. Now is the time!!🔥
Great trip. We are headed that way in the morning. Fall is a great time to chase them
Thank you!! It is definitely the best time of the year!! Hope you guys get into em!!💯
So fun. I did the same off the dam last fall and had the same action. I’m already ready for fall again
Fall is definitely one of my favorite times to fish. Super aggressive!!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Great action. Good to see many different techniques working.
Thanks Stacy!! It was a day that anything would have worked!! Best time of the year from now till ice!!!
Was going to strawberry and stopped at deer creek and Jordanelle with no luck other than a small brookie. That was today woulda saw you
Gotta love a good brookie though! I really need to hit Deer Creek again!!!
I have a question sir, when you use chub meat should you unfreeze it before use?

Do you like the Strawberry Bay side better? Or the solder creek side?

6:16 you said you're not letting the tube jig get anywhere near the bottom. So how are fishing it?

Very nice score!!!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Where do you get the chub bait?
With the supply being spotty I’ve been trying to source it myself. They are easy to catch with a small worm and bobber set up.
are you dragging the jig on the bottom how do you keep it from getting snagged

Good day out there, what part of strawberry was it?

Thanks man, Spanish oaks has some good chunks in it right now, they are loving the tube jigs. Keep up with the good videos and fishing!
