Thanks man, I was trying to find out how to make the text fade in and fade out. Watching this video helped me understand how to do it in a very simple and accurate way. Keep up the good work. :)
@@shadow-oz1mh I actually made a video showing all the steps to uploading to RUclips. It's very easy but I recommend you watch that video. It would take too long for me to go through the steps here.
Just started with Videopad.. I need to know how to use Templates, like photos that can flip to another template. I can't figure it out!!.. And I would love to see your first video.
Well I've never used photo transitions but I'm sure they are just like using transitions for video. Every time you make a cut in your video, on that cut should be a small block, that when touched, opens up the transitions. As far as my other tutorials, just go to home RUclips link and scroll through all my videos. This series of tutorials is all close together and shouldn't be hard to find. I made a video about an hour long that covers from start to upload, then I made a series of shorter videos, including this one, that breaks it all down into smaller sections.
hello , can you make please video tutorials of WavePad Audio Editor - have purchased the full version 2 days ago . it is interesting just the price with 83 dollars show me a little bit high.
I will look into it. I too have it but don't use it that much. As I said before, I am no audio expert and do very little in the audio arena. I let quality mics do the work for me and the only thing I record in audio is for my videos. I have been dabbling in recording our guitar playing though, so I will be getting more into this.
Hello Hayes, thank you for your clear explanatory power; I Liked your video. I hoped you may have time to help me with an issue. When I apply a "fade out" effect to my text, it automatically applies this effect to the video clip below as well, so that the clip also fades out. In this way, I cannot edit the text and the video clip independently. Do you have any words of wisdom here?
It doesn't do that when I fade out my text. Make sure you are fading the text block and not the video block. Highlight the text, then tap on the box in the top right of the text block and choose your face. The fade in only give you a simple fade in, but you can change the time the fade lasts. Hope that helped.
No i didn't is the straight answer but the full answer is that rotation and flipping "Hayes Tech" logo was pulled from an older video editing program, I was using, and added into the larger opener. That larger opener was created using NCH. So that certain rotating text isn't found in NCH. I'll have to dig around to figure which software I got that from though. I think it was called ShotCut
I love your videos as you explain them in a simple fashion that’s very easy for a novice to understand. Thank you and look forward to seeing your other videos. Question?.. how do you upload your finished video up into utube? Colin S Perth Western Australia
Too uploaded to RUclips, I don't use the program to do it. If you log into your RUclips account, there is an option in the upper right to upload video to your account. I may make a video showing how I do it. There are several ways but I just the RUclips program itself to upload all my VideoPad. Be looking for that video and I will keep it short...lol..
I need help. Can I customize a transition on Videopad? For example, make a diagonal one. Going from top left to bottom right. The kind you see in Star Wars. Thank you for these videos.
Some of the transitions have settings that you can twerk. To get it exactly like the one you describe may not be fully possible but again, you can change some of them to do different things. There is the one that looked like a page turning in a book, that I use a lot, the you can pick what corner you want it to start from. Let me know how it works out for you.
@@Bluesculls_ Thank you for jumping in and helping out. I don't use the special text features like that so I have little experience and couldn't really help much...lol...
Great Video, a question for ya, why after I delete the ripple the rest of the video doesn't automatically merge back together, I have to click and drag the portion on the right and drag it to the left? Thanks. I am a new RUclips content provider and I am finding that the editing portion is the toughest.
Yes it is. I hate the editing part...lol . If you hit "delete ripple" it should auto pull everything to the right of what you deleted over. The only way it doesn't is if you have other files above it below it, like B-roll or music. Then it moves the rest over till it hits the end of the other clips (music or B-roll clips). If that makes sense.
That, I'm not sure of. I never had the need for that effect. It would be applied the same as any of the other effects and it would be located in the same place as the other effects. If it's not there, then I wouldn't know where it is, or how to do it. I'm sorry I can't give you any more info than that. I've switched to using DaVinci Resolve for all of my video editing (except B-roll) now, since I got a laptop with a GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card in it. I get much better video editing results with DaVinci Resolve. I still think NCH is a very powerful editing tool for anyone with a lower spec laptop or PC though (without a dedicated graphics card).
Do you make sure that the red bar, above the video, is all the way across? That bar represents whether or not it's fully loaded into the system. Sometimes I wait for it, sometimes I don't. It all depends on whether or not I'm in a hurry. But if that red bar is all the way across, then it should run smoothly. Also, my laptop is better than any laptop I've ever owned. It does things I never thought it would. Most videos I added are in 4K. When I added 1080p videos, it goes super fast.
I'm pretty sure I showed that along with how to fade in and out the text. I'll check again, but I tried to be pretty thorough in this one. I would just answer your question out right but I would have to start up my laptop and edit a video, to get used to using it again, since I've switched over to using DaVinci Resolve as my main video editor now. Sorry about that
Hey there man, I use videopad myself.. i was wondering is there a way to download more transitions into the program itself? like add more options to the library. thanks
Did you watch there video the whole way? I think I went through the text features. I got the main one, the one I use most of the time. In the text features there are several different options though. I didn't go through them all because it would have been a very long video. I'll try to see where I show text options and give you the time stamp if I get the time later though.
