This is something a little different. A lot of older dudes grew up with the yellow Auto World catalogs back in the 60's and 70's. Since R2 now owns Auto World, wouldn't it be cool to reissue those catalogs printed exactly as they were back then? Imagine a whole set of those sitting on a bookshelf! Talk about nostalgia!
I have a few Auto World catalogs from the 1960s and early 70s. Got to meet Oscar Kovoleski a few times at Can Am races when he was racing his McLaren. Quite a character. Bought car accessories from him, too. Model cars, slot cars, full size car accessories. Always a good outfit to deal with. And now, over 50 years later, I just recently bought some model car kits from Auto World again.
OMG!! SSlasher is coming back!!!! I built this back in the late 70's early 80's!! Need to get that definitely and the dart!! You guys are going to have me go bankrupt here..lol
You Guys at Round 2 are doing an Awesome job creating some of the nicest products that takes me back in time!!! I love the Auto World series of slot cars, Johnny Lightning 1:64 cars, now the 1:18 cars!!! I would like to see a 1973-1974 Plymouth Roadrunner in 1:18 in Silver Frost metallic with the Red Stripes, and Basin Street Blue with either Red, White, or Black Striping!!! That would be so cool!!! In 1:64, like to see either the 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst Edition or the 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury GT in Formal Black like the one at Muscle Car And Corvette Nationals!!! Thank you for your Awesome Products!!! Mopar Nate Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
I hope all of you at round 2 had a safe, fun, awesome year. All the prayers and safety to all you and your family's. You know me lol o got to always keep my fingers crossed on, hoping for an 80-86 Ford f series pickups in all the trims and configurations world be a dream come true. Also, it would be cool to see some 67-72 too. Thanks, Chad and the camera guy for another great clip. I know what goes into filming. You all rock
Since you guys are doing a lot of vintage reissues, may I make a couple of suggestions. How about bringing back the 1973 Dodge Charger with the panel wagon option with the wood paneling decals. Or how about the 1975 Plymouth Road Runner (Fury) kits.
Love the Chevelle! Keep up the good work guys. 🌲Merry Christmas and Happy New Year; Chad and the rest of the staff.!!!! 🌲🎅🏻 look forward to an exciting yer. Thanks
Finally, it's good to see a kit that can be built by modelers who like anything from factory stock to custom to full racing versions, all in one box. I want to see inside the '76 Dodge Dart box first, but that might be my first purchase in 2025.
Nice!!….the SSlasher Chevelle is molded in white this time. 👍🏼👍🏼…..I hope they included the proper grill/bumper this time, instead of the generic one in the last ‘72 Chevelle release.
Great looking lineup. Thanks for sharing. Ya'll have a Merry Christmas. How about doing a model or diecast of the Plymouth Volare/Dodge Aspen in the wagon and 4 door version 😊
Very nice. The Plymouth & Dodge makes me want to see a Married with Children Al Bundy car. Dodge in the show but was really a Plymouth. Could have one in the brown color that was supposedly tons of dirt over a red that could be the second version. Also, Hope for a NX-01 that scale. In the original then later do the refit. Myself, I am not really a fan of the refit but good option if it does well for those who do.
Would love to see a new-tool Refit Enterprise in 1/650! In scale with the TOS 1/650 kit and a more manageable size than 1/537 and a chance to sharpen up the details. And an in-scale Reliant too while you're at it!😁
Thank you ROUND2 you guys absolutely killed it this year and looking forward to another incredible year of modeling in 2025. Everyone keep yourselves and love ones safe and healthy and remember to SMILE 😊God Bless 🙏 HAPPY AND SAFE HOLIDAYS
I recently discovered Round 2 plans to release the 1960 Chevy Nomad wagon and 65 Barracuda! That's great news but I still need the George Barris Thunder Charger from the movie Thunder Alley with decals for the movie version and post-movie version ( I'll buy two), the Meyers Tow'd hopefully molded in green, and the 1971 Ford Torino Cobra with the NASCAR parts. The last three have never been reissued since their initial release.
I would love to see, if possible, a re-issue of the original MPC funny car model kit: Color Me Gone Dodge Charger, with an altered wheel base '66/'67 Dodge Charger body. It could be built in one if two versions, with the engine forward of the windshield or behind the windshield
Years ago, a neighbor across the street here in the California desert, was a guy who was a retired machinist from GM. Where he and his wife came from, their neighbor and friend was Roger Lindamood of Color Me Gone fame. Lindberg did the 64 Max Wedge Color Me Gone. There are Moebius tools that would work for the altered wheelbase 1966 Color Me Gone. But an altered wheelbase body would be needed. Maybe the MPC body tool still exists. Then there are old Logghe chassis for the stock body/engine behind the windshield 1967 version. Also originally done by MPC.
I cast my vote for the Dodge Demon. Great kit even though I haven't got it yet. I'll definitely be getting it sometime soon, and the new Weekend Warrior as well.
Love the MPC releases. The 454 Chevelle should make building a "Red Alert" somewhat possible without paying for the vintage kit. My one question on the HO scale slot cars is why is it so difficult to get the rear wheel arches lined up with rear wheels?
Very nice models, I'm not a chevy guy but I realy like this chevelle😎. Thanks for sharing. Oh I have a wish for your consideration, please bring back mpc 66/67 Dodge Charger like the annual kit with stock parts and maybe optional parts for nascar and drag??
I really like the Mecum series. Please feature the top 3 highest selling GBody vehicles you've had, more than likely a GNX and low mileage Grand Nationals. A Monte Carlo SS T-Top would be awesome.
Was the display stand holding the Hanger Bay for the USS Enterprise included in the kit? The Hanger Bay is so detailed that I have ALWAYS felt it a shame to hide it inside the kit!
It would be awesome if you could reissue the AMT Crew Chief Chevy Blazer product number 897. It would also be great if you could reissue the AMT Chevy Monza 2+2 product number 1019.
Kids? I never see kids in diecast aisle! Regardless, looking for more of the AW Deluxe models at Target. So glad to see the quick return of the '74 GTO! C'mon Rusty. It's only been out for about a year in one red version thus far, though I know these and a couple of flames models are on their way as well. Doesn't the company pay you to be knowledgeable of the product? The GTO was a very pleasant surprise casting announcement, along with the 'Rambler Marlin. If the Mecum auction loser was cryin' like a baby, he is in the wrong hobby.
I'd love for you guys to produce some new Star Wars kits outside of the usual subjects we see all the time - if you were able to get a license for them that is. How about a decent sized Super Star Destroyer, or an MC-80 or Home One?
I'd build a SKYSCRAPER in the middle of Long Island City for BOTH Round 2 AND Tamiya if a Continental MK III and IV are in their future... Same with the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, too!
Dear round 2 I have been a model builder for over 40 years here is a few kits that should be reissued a new tooling of the 1969 general Lee and cooters tow truck the fall guy and hard Castle and McCormick GMC pickups the a team GMC van smokey and the bandit trailer with stage coach holdup bj and the bear kw aerodyne 1973 thru 1977 Ford pickups and any of the Charlies angels cars especially Jill's mustang cobra 2 iam positive any one of these kits reissued would sell good
You should do the early ‘80s Dodge Daytona. You should also do the GM Square Body as a long box kit, or as a parts box, for use with both the ‘70s and ‘80s truck kits. You should do the ‘72 to ‘93 Dodge trucks, as full detail kits, for short box, long box, standard cab, club cab, and crew cab. You should also do the ‘94 to ‘02 Dodge Ram trucks, in all configurations, along with the ‘03 to ‘09 Dodge Ram trucks. I’d love to see a full detail kit of the original Dodge Power Wagon.
I could love the demon but the soft interior, floorplan with molded in exhaust and propshaft, front end loader looking rear axle and simple front suspension leaves me with only liking it. The body, wheels and tires, and decal sheet, and separate front and rear lights are excellent. I'm going to annoy you again for a retooled 537 Enterprise. The dart is pretty cool
Still waiting for a company to re release or just release a 82-92 Pontiac firebird! Specifically the 89 formula firebird. My buddy's dad had a 89 formula growing up, he gave it to my buddy and I made him a 1/25 I had to modify the nose because it was a 92 body style to match his 89 and then years later he actually gave me the car... But wouldn't give me the model back! So now I need to make a replica of my car for car shows displaying it on the dash! Thanks for the 1/64 3rd Gen firebird but I need a 1/24-1/25 model version with optional 89 and the later cone style nose options!
Looking forward to the Chevelle and Dart. 🙂
It's a GREAT time to be a modeler!!! 👍👍
I would love to see a 68 chevy caprice or a 69 impala. Thanks guys.
Don't hold your breath. We've been requesting 68/69 full size Chevies for years, and the requests fall on deaf ears.
He'll yeah!
I still have one from 1980
I still have my older auto world catalogs also.i miss them.
That would be neat. I have one from late 1971. Great seeing all the old kits that I had/wanted.
How about reviving the format for modern times?
I'm loving the duster and Chevelle model kits
Thanks a million for keeping our hobby fun.👍✌
Awesome stuff Chad! I’ll be getting both the Chevelle and the Dart Sport. Thank you guys so much for all you do for us!
Would love to see the AMT 1966 Buick Skylark GS kit
bring back the AMC Javelin!
Gremlin too please
I agree. I've been wanting one for quite some time, but I don't want to pay the prices being asked.
Any of the AMC kits, but does Round 2 own them? The AMX would be nice.
Gotta pause the video 1:40 in and thank you for bringing back the ‘91 Firebird Formula. 3rd and 4th gen F-Body cars are very overlooked in die cast.
OMG!! SSlasher is coming back!!!! I built this back in the late 70's early 80's!! Need to get that definitely and the dart!! You guys are going to have me go bankrupt here..lol
I am super excited for the model kits. Hoping for 2025 we'll see the 66 Skylark...
The Duster and Chevelle kits are must purchases for me. Thanks for sharing.
Another great line up of merch those Ramcharger slot cars are very cool release
Thank you.... looking forward to the model kits and the Slot cars
Save me some Dart Sports 😂
@@BigSkyModelWorkshop Sorry joe.. i am going to order 15 like the Demon...
@KRD12K glad I pre-ordered one 😂
Ramcharger slot in black! 😍🔥🔥🔥🔥
Man, that refit Enterprise is sweet!
You Guys at Round 2 are doing an Awesome job creating some of the nicest products that takes me back in time!!! The Target Poncho Pontiac’s along with the 74 GTO’s are awesome.
Like many others I am really looking forward to the Chevelle and Dart. Thanks Round 2, and especially Mr Goldman!
Perfect timing. Yesterday I thought I missed the video
The return of the KW T-600's in the truck line wold be a nice reissue!
Since you guys are doing a lot of vintage reissues, may I make a couple of suggestions. How about bringing back the 1973 Dodge Charger with the panel wagon option with the wood paneling decals. Or how about the 1975 Plymouth Road Runner (Fury) kits.
Cool stuff looking forward to the weekend warrior Dart still would love to see the Javelin make a come back
As always ... AWESOME !!!!!!!!! JL rocks ! 😇👍🏼
Lots of Pontiacs. NICE!
would love to see the buick GS come out in orange
Figured I knew what movie the Impreza was from, thanks for the "crying like a baby" tag to help me confirm it!
Definitely would love to see the 1980-86 Ford pickup kit regular cab longbed version, and the 1977-79 Ford Thunderbird. They would be a fun build.
Love the Chevelle! Keep up the good work guys. 🌲Merry Christmas and Happy New Year; Chad and the rest of the staff.!!!! 🌲🎅🏻 look forward to an exciting yer. Thanks
Awesome stuff!! Looking forward to the Chevelle mostly and the dart!! I agree with some other comments too bring out the 72 Javelin!!

Those GTA s are sweet
Great video
“Crying like a BABY” haha I see what you did there
Yesss the 74 GTO is back. And the Hawkeye looks amazing.
Love those Subies, Chad!
Baby Driver No waaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!! I'm going after both of those!!
One thing I wish that the decal sheets would have is Canadian license plate decals.
Love the Enterprise refit. Would love to see a 1 : 350 klingon d7 and a spacedock
Myself, I am not really a fan of the refit but good option if it does well for those who do.
have a very Merry Christmas Chad.
NEW MODEL YEAR TRUCKS !!! PLEASE !
The new GTO casting 👌😍
I'd love to see the 1972 Dodge Charger Rallye and the 1973-1974 Dodge Charger re-issued in 1/25 scale plastic.
Gotta get those Thunderjet rear tires under the fenders! Better wheels too!
Would love to see a new-tool Refit Enterprise in 1/650! In scale with the TOS 1/650 kit and a more manageable size than 1/537 and a chance to sharpen up the details. And an in-scale Reliant too while you're at it!😁
Love the Sci Fi Kits !!!
Will go vote.Made the GoodGuys show absolutely awesome. Thanks for the white lightning and ultra red
Thank you ROUND2 you guys absolutely killed it this year and looking forward to another incredible year of modeling in 2025. Everyone keep yourselves and love ones safe and healthy and remember to SMILE 😊God Bless 🙏
HAPPY AND SAFE HOLIDAYS
So much cool stuff! Santa's coming, Santa's coming 🧑🎄🎄🧑🎄🎄🧑🎄
Be so cool to see some older fords f series in the autoworld premium 1/64 like 57 67-72, 80-86 f series in all configuration and trims.
Especially the 1980-86 regular cab longbed bodystyle.
The MPC release I would LOVE to see is the Indy Turbine car, the early 1/20 rounded one, not the later “wedge” version.

1/25 slotcar guys will love the chevelle!
Hey Chad, missed you at Detroit , but sent a a old school Auto world stricker from Pa, in 1972
My god, the whining on here! Be glad we’re getting anything! Keep doing you, Round2! 🖖🏼
Yes, finally the 62 Farmer car!
Do you have any plans to reproduce the 1966 Mercury Park Lane?
It's a pity that the kit is discontinued and not available.
The Red Alert Chevelle was a 1970, despite the inaccurate old AMT kit.
Subaru finally coming out!
Any chance of a new lighting kit for the 1701 refit?
Very nice models, I'm not a chevy guy but I realy like this chevelle😎. Thanks for sharing. Oh I have a wish for your consideration, please bring back mpc 66/67 Dodge Charger like the annual kit with stock parts and maybe optional parts for nascar and drag??
How about a 72 Gran Torino??
Not bad at all
The 1:350 Enterprise Refit should never go out of production.
that 76 dart just like the last issue of it you only get to put hemi heads on a smallblock
how about a re issue of the mpc 1968 chevy pickup model kit
I really like the Mecum series. Please feature the top 3 highest selling GBody vehicles you've had, more than likely a GNX and low mileage Grand Nationals. A Monte Carlo SS T-Top would be awesome.
If it's not too much to ask. Can we have the 68 69 Impala and the 71 through 75;Chevy Caprice and also the '92 Silverado stepside
I think it’s too much to ask. We’ve been asking for years but they only mostly cater to the hot rodder/smaller platform Chevy/ford/mopar model cars.
still no new impalas hoping next yr will see....ill take the chevele and duster though nice kitts..
Im wishing for impala’s too
It'd be cool if Autoworld made a new 98-02 WS6 casting, especially since the proportions and the scale on the old Johnny Lightning one seem off.
I want the large 1957 Chev. sedan and the Nomad while we are wishing for stuff
How about an n series ford tractor tow truck or b model mack
Was the display stand holding the Hanger Bay for the USS Enterprise included in the kit? The Hanger Bay is so detailed that I have ALWAYS felt it a shame to hide it inside the kit!
It would be awesome if you could reissue the AMT Crew Chief Chevy Blazer product number 897. It would also be great if you could reissue the AMT Chevy Monza 2+2 product number 1019.
1961-71 Dodge Power Wagon pickups please!
2025= Beverly Hillbillies truck 🎉
They are out there on ebay and other private sellers like me.
Kids? I never see kids in diecast aisle! Regardless, looking for more of the AW Deluxe models at Target. So glad to see the quick return of the '74 GTO! C'mon Rusty. How about a 1/350 Romulan Bird Of Prey to go with the TOS Enterprise and a 1/350 SS Botany Bay to also go with the TOS Enterprise. 👍😁
Y'all need to bring out a 74 GTO kit as well as some other 70's muscle cars that have been overlooked for way too long
Do I need to say it? Still waiting for a re-tool/new tool of the American LaFrance kits. Would it help if I said please?
I'd build a SKYSCRAPER in the middle of Long Island City for BOTH Round 2 AND Tamiya if a Continental MK III and IV are in their future... Same with the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, too!
Dear round 2 I have been a model builder for over 40 years here is a few kits that should be reissued a new tooling of the 1969 general Lee and cooters tow truck the fall guy and hard Castle and McCormick GMC pickups the a team GMC van smokey and the bandit trailer with stage coach holdup bj and the bear kw aerodyne 1973 thru 1977 Ford pickups and any of the Charlies angels cars especially Jill's mustang cobra 2 iam positive any one of these kits reissued would sell good
Have they ever done models of '73 to '77 a bodies?
I got divorced over the phrase 'you should.'
@ Sorry to hear that. I’ll start asking them by saying, Could you.
67 Galaxy??????????
I could love the demon but the soft interior, floorplan with molded in exhaust and propshaft, front end loader looking rear axle and simple front suspension leaves me with only liking it. The body, wheels and tires, and decal sheet, and separate front and rear lights are excellent.
I'm going to annoy you again for a retooled 537 Enterprise.
The dart is pretty cool
The AMT 71 Duster has a nice chassis and interior. Not exactly Dodge Dart Demon...but...
@@dustymojaveI'm using the demon body with the duster everything else. A few fit issues but it's coming together
Should we assume you are done making Legend of The Quarter Mile Slot Cars since the two new Ramcharger ones never existed?
The Rebox of the 76 Dart Sport is cool but why couldn’t you guys put the stripes for the Dart Sport not the stripes for a Duster.
they should make hard tires for new tools for autoworld every each 1:64 cars
Any thoughts on releasing the roaring rolls, peace tank or 4 gear model a?
The Deluxe 2 packs, still only at Target?
I give up on you guys.
