"The Barbara Gaines Show" is easily the most dysfunctionally entertaining show on television. Add to that the fact that it technically isn't even on television only adds to the whole mystique and charm of it. I can't wait till it goes into syndication and we can start watching it again from the beginning.
And a decade later, have the staff reminisce about their favorite bits.
Maybe someday it will be available on youtube. Oh wait!....☺

I was in NYC when this was being hung. It’s weird, I had a dream about the sign the other night.
Well that was just great, and I'm so happy for Uncle Preston! Now take good care of that invaluable historical relic.
Wow I would love to see that marquee again someday … I traveled to the theater once and they gave me one of Dave’s ties during the taping.. I still have it I love that tie. Wonderful memories.

This was cool!
I may have forgotten my medication today, but this was the most confusing episode of TBGS I have seen to date. We open in a remote barn adorned with chains and rope where Dave is dressed as a drifter and Barbara's nose indicates she has early onset frostbite. Then Dave appears to be wandering around the barn as some randos load the sign up for the winner. We end up at another estate, this time warmer and populated with overly eager supporters of Habitat for Humanity who also have a connection with Ed Sullivan's adveriser? Just when we have more questiions than answers, we hear an old outro from The CBS Orchestra while Dave pulls off in what looks like a Hertz rent a car. Congrats to the winner, but I need a drink.
