Great work here as per usual. I think it's easy to forget how much lore was built not just for these games, but for the Aligned Continuity. While everything may not line up perfectly, it is amazing to see how much work went into the background of the world.
The aligned continuities lore is by far the best for old fans to look back on and new fans who want to look into the lore. Also this was a great video and you are right. This would have made for a sick prequel game for the WFC/ FOC games.
Somehow the simple name for Operation T-Cog reminds me of of the real world Operation Tank in WW1 as the word “tank” was used to mislead potential spies into thinking “oh they are just looking up water tanks.” Though I imagine in this case if the Quintasons if they are arrogant as their G2 counterparts & had spies of their own they’d most probably go “oh they are just looking up T-cogs, fat chance they’ll figure out how to use them.”
5:43 one question, from the audio logs in FOC when ironhide is retelling the story of Optimus prime, he calls prime Orion Pax so surely he would have been known in this part of the Great War as Orion Pax?
Yes, he is known as Orion Pax technically, however I am unable to find a moment where his name changes from Orion to Optimus, so I tend to follow the WFC game and just call him Optimus.
