What a beautiful conversation! I so enjoyed the replay (it was afternoon in US Eastern time and I work then). I'm only about a third of the way through the book and loving it. I don't live in a big city myself, but live a in Metro Detroit suburb and there is NO land in my area. It's suburban concrete misery with so much noise. I so related to Natalie and her quest to find the divine/God/mysticism in a loud and crowded, noisy area. While I'm sad for the dissolve of her marriage, I am happy for her to be back in nature, which is what I SO long for. I feel suffocated here and daydream daily about living someplace beautiful. Michigan IS beautiful - out West and up North but NOT in Metro Detroit. We have tons of culture and diversity, but very little nature to be found. So I'm so enjoying this! Thanks for another wonderful book club - I so enjoyed it!
