Though I had spent my time I'm delhi for two years approx and used to stay in just behind nangyal raya flyover. So I used to think it's one of the biggest jail in India. Can this video not be taken as testimony to be shared with national human rights organization for action to be taken ?? Does law permits this kind of treatment in jails? Are there any sections in law for the expected conduct of jail authority/staff?
Sir a person in jail is one who held responsible for a crime by our judiciary And a person who is sentenced for tihar jail might have done something very cruel.If you think then after doing any crime a person should not treat like this then other criminals will not take a lesson from this.

Also, this falls within the domain of hearsay and strictly speaking not even a hearsay (evidence) as per the Indian laws, more so as per major common law Nations. Having said that, there are plethora of such videos available across the internet and this isn't a novel experiment, however, there have been instances and stories in the past where creative contents have changed the outlook of stringent legal and executive norms. Though it won't be much prudent on our part to be excessively revealing in terms of all the facts, I hope this generic response would suffice & probably you'd appreciate it to an extent too. For more specific queries, you may connect directly as well. India does have a corrective and reformative legal system, but there ought to be some strictness in terms of discipline, schedule and treatment of the inmates (convicts, undertrials, accused etc.) As far as legal provisions are concerned, the best and the most authentic source could well be the highest law of our land itself - The Constitution of India. Apart from that there are several Jail Manuals as updated from time to time and more so the Criminal Procedure Code itself wherein, though, there are not any specific mentioning of the Jails and treatment of the inmates per se, but several corresponding and overlapping references could well be found. I have read the book " Black Warrant" and I can match the ordeal of this person and the content of the books easily. What I conclude is the biggest joke is these days Jails are called " Correctional Homes" and then are treated worse than animals. I wonder what's the condition in other jails if this is the condition in Asia's biggest Correctional Home. Though I had spent my time I'm delhi for two years approx and used to stay in just behind nangyal raya flyover. So I used to think it's one of the biggest jail in India. It must be good in terms of conditions and facility. But got to know the real fact of the jail.

Sir a person in jail is one who held responsible for a crime by our judiciary And a person who is sentenced for tihar jail might have done something very cruel.If you think then after doing any crime a person should not treat like this then other criminals will not take a lesson from this.

The treatment of inmates across the globe is a topic of discussion amongst the Modern Nation States Sir. Whether any act/event/incidence falls within the ambit of any specific human rights' violation has to be seen strictly as per law only. Also, this falls within the domain of hearsay and strictly speaking not even a hearsay (evidence) as per the Indian laws, more so as per major common law Nations. Having said that, there are plethora of such videos available across the internet and this isn't a novel experiment, however, there have been instances and stories in the past where creative contents have changed the outlook of stringent legal and executive norms. Though it won't be much prudent on our part to be excessively revealing in terms of all the facts, I hope this generic response would suffice & probably you'd appreciate it to an extent too. For more specific queries, you may connect directly as well.
India does have a corrective and reformative legal system, but there ought to be some strictness in terms of discipline, schedule and treatment of the inmates (convicts, undertrials, accused etc.)
As far as legal provisions are concerned, the best and the most authentic source could well be the highest law of our land itself - The Constitution of India. Apart from that there are several Jail Manuals as updated from time to time and more so the Criminal Procedure Code itself wherein, though, there are not any specific mentioning of the Jails and treatment of the inmates per se, but several corresponding and overlapping references could well be found.

I have read the book " Black Warrant" and I can match the ordeal of this person and the content of the books easily. What I conclude is the biggest joke is these days Jails are called " Correctional Homes" and then are treated worse than animals. I wonder what's the condition in other jails if this is the condition in Asia's biggest Correctional Home.
