- Want to install headlights on your SN95 New Edge Mustang? In this video, I show you how to install the headlights, along with wiring up the LED Headlights. I picked up a set of DRL LED headlights for my Mustang Roush to try them out. So, grab the part below, and let's wire the Mustang headlights up for the install!

I had to take this install a step further. In Virginia, the DRL’s have to turn off when your headlights turn on so I had to wire in a relay switch and 2 fuse taps but it got the job done. They do look really nice.
I paid someone to install mine last year. Unfortunately, there were no videos about how to install them last year and I was uncomfortable with the electrical part without guidance. Your video looks great and concise and I hope people get to upgrade theirs and keep these gorgeous cars as enviable as they can be. Mine are already not working and I'm getting ready to change from a black body to a chrome body and implement some of the tips I've found in other videos to prevent this from happening again.
For those who are curious about the orange/yellow fuse. It's a 5 Amp.

Pretty strait forward and worked exactly the way you said. I did it the exact same way! I used a little thinner red wire, I hope that isn't a huge deal? They work great! Thanks for the video, major help in doing this. But a nice update for my 02 GT thanks a lot

Where did u get the chin spoiler I’m in love I have a 03 convertible with the same color so this really shows me the potential
it is the Roush front splitter, it came on Roush stage 1 /2 for that generation. They are a bit hard to come by, since a majority of owners got rid of them for a Roush Stage 3 front. Join some Roush new edge owners groups to see when some pope up.

The original ones that came out a few years ago when you made this video were junk loose drl led would fall off of the light bar doese any one know if their making them any better today???

Its the Roush front lip, super hard to find now.
I have the same problem with the brake power booster.. leeks oil 😅

What did I mess up in? I installed the same DRL lights and they don't turn on when the car is on, They only turn on along with the other lights once the switch is pulled like in the video, how would I fix this? I'm new to cars in general
Installed these put it in the same fuse location but now my right headlight doesn’t work at night it gets power just not enough to light it up
@mustangs-marketing : Does the DRL have a replaceable LED Bulb or is it solid state/ sealed up ?
it's sealed up. wish it wasn't, but the lights are still working 3 years later
This is a fair amount different than atleast a 95 gts. Where the headlights are attached are not with metal brackets but with three plastic star bit pieces that require a special tool to turn. If anyone has a good makeshift tool idea for this I would appreciate it
I bought a fuse tap but did not come with an extra fuse, what fuse can i use in it's stead?

what size is the headlight wire? is it 16 awg just like the wire you connected to it ?
Do you mean the LED wire? It's much smaller, I just went with a higher grade wire for safety.
Hows the visibility at night with the LEDs and the DRL? I got myself a pair of LEDs and im not satisfied at all, I do a lot of night driving so its really important to me
for me the visibility is good, i also have HID bulbs in the fog lights, make sure to properly aim then, and don't expect them to have the clear cut off of like projectors
Where did you get the extra yellow fuse at the end?
it came with the fuse tap wires
Oh. My car doesn’t have that boot that you drilled through so I’m not sure where to drill now lol
Switchback turn signals
Huge waste of time. All needed was to tap into running lights/turn signal harness.
I'm so confused people keep saying these but none of the 3 turn signal wires get power unless the signal is on?
