There are so many things I love about this adventure. The sound of your foot steps crunching on the dry snow, your joy of seeing the snow at the campsite, the honesty about not sleeping well due to the cold, but my favorite was the shout out to all the English speaking followers, of good night in the snow, just made me smile. I am sure you have a break down of where your followers are from, while not as many comment, they still follow. It was a very smart move to put on the crampons on your shoes for the walk down. On the way up your body weight is either on the level or leaning forward, but on the way down leaning forward is putting your weight down hill which can cause slips and falling. The stop for the snack of the ramen after that hike I could feel the noodles warming myself up, been thru cold hikes. Thank you for the Happy New Year in the snow. You are a superstar. I looks for your videos first thing my time Sunday mornings and try to start my day with your latest adventure. Have a great week.

Hello Mari, the scenery was spectacular, the snow covered trees you walked through and the view from the top were beautiful. I have been in love with Korea ever since being stationed there while in the Army. The food you make always looks delicious, and the presentation was next level, Chef Mari. Oh cool intro with the curved road thru the mountain valley and snowy road to the taebaek camp ground. The drone views at beginning were 😍.
Here in Illinois ,USA the current temperature is 32°Fahrenheit (0°Celsius) at 6:05am 🥶.
It looks like you have all the necessary cold weather gear to survive the cold night. correction: you forgot the sleeping mat😢😭 at least you compensated for not having one. It must have really cold and uncomfortable with out one😢. Sorry to hear you weren't able to get a goodnight sleep due to cold ground that you mentioned felt like sleeping on ice😢.

The snowy and slippery trek to the summit. Snow covered trees😮. Glad you are wearing a hat to retain body heat .oh no, the camera fell down due to windy conditions 😢😢. Hopefully the camera wasn't damaged when it fell. Good you were wearing your crampons on descent to help travel over the slippery slopes.

8.29 km in 3 hrs 18 minutes 😮👍 a successful climb deserves ramen 🍜 for lunch.

That looks cold. I would use warmer clothes. Snowmobile suit or at least three layers of clothing. You will need some hand warmers as backup. Make sure you wear dry, clean clothes when you sleep! OMG.
