After the year before, this sucks. 2009 had the right idea in terms of what to aim for. This was like a cheesy movie, and that is NOT what Indy is about. It kind of matches how the racing has gotten in the Indy Car Series outside of some good road course racing. The oval racing has really been hurting. Indy HAS to bring the apron back to give the cars room to race.
Maybe instead of constantly trying to get an Emmy nomination, they should focus on....eeehhhh....the Indy 500. Don't know if anyone has seen this year's ticket for the race...Dan Wheldon as a previous winner is on it. Here is a poor guy that was KILLED from blunt force trauma to the head....and what does the ticket show?...MILK POURING OFF HIS HEAD!...How effin' stupid is that?
You're totally right, They think they are trying to win Emmy's instead of getting the race fans pumped up. The worst was that "Perfect Storm" nonsense a few years before. I went to that race and watched it on tape-delay in Indianapolis and all I could think was WHY would they make these intros so stupid?
