I live in Philly and have done with GFed just did a few times. ANYONE can do this on non game days. They leave the Palestra and Franklin Field open all the time for people to mill about. It's awesome. Great video dude.
Franklin Field isn't a football stadium with a track around it, it's a track stadium with a football field inside it. They also just built a brand new indoor track right across the street from Franklin Field
Penn might have the best, most historic 1-2 punch of athletic facilities in the country. Forget the modern cookie cutter garbage, these places are great!
I lived in Philly for 12 years and went to a lot of college sporting events. Penn definitely has some of the best facilities and traditions. Throwing the toast between the third and fourth quarters at football games has to be one of my favorites.
The big 5 is and will always be the greatest part of College Basketball. Also shout out to Drexel as they have recently been recognized as the six team in the big 5.
The character of Penn's historic facilitiies really comes through in your video. Really cool how Penn also celebrates the City and all the great athletes that have played there.
When I was a senior in high school I had the privilege and honor to go the Penn Relays with my teammates (we were coming in from New York). Outside of Yankee Stadium, it was the most historic sports facility I've ever been to. Some of the greatest runners have performed there, and again, it was a privilege and honor to be at Franklin Field.
I gotta ask how many schools are actually cool with people walking around their facilities? I wanted to go to Penn for some years now since I was living on the East Coast
Generally, the smaller/less relevant the program is the more cool they are. Florida, Cincinnati, TCU, North Carolina are some big ones that has most of it open to the public

Doesn’t matter that much. 1+2 and 2+1 both equal 3.

I work at Penn, they get maybe 100 people at games week-to-week unfortunately. Basketball gets more people tho
This is unfortunate, beautiful digs! I hope you go and enjoy the facilities
If Ivy League didn't de-empatize sports, they would get more people
Man, the palestra is on my bucket list to go vist.

The Palestra is an architectural masterpiece. Its significance cannot be understated. ESPN did a whole documentary on it back in the day.
really glad you did Penn. I work at Penn and my gf goes to their graduate school. The campus is really neat to me
