It's hard to pull off a Radiohead song but this cover has totally blown me away! Nice job on putting your own twist while not overdoing it. Hope you'd do more!

Great video and live performance of a complex song. Pleased you stayed fairly close to the original Radiohead arrangement but with your own sublime interpretation. Wonderful vocals and musicianship.
when i see something like 1:58 where the drummer is playing hat and i am hearing ride cymbal, it just alerts my brain that some of the parts i'm hearing aren't real, have been overdubbed. same with some of these cello parts i am seeing later where visually he stays on one note but then in the audio it drops down a fifth. a bummer because with all the time spent on visuals and production, as well as people's time, you owe yourselves and your audience a genuine live take. lotta talent here though, congrats and keep pushing~
As the creator, I can with good conscience tell you that this is a full live take with no overdubs, the mis-match is simply a case of there only being one camera man so we had to do several performances of the song, live, to try and get the visual footage, pick the best audio, and still didn’t have enough. I edited the footage and video myself and could only work with what I had. So it is a case of the visual falling short rather than the audio. I wouldn’t usually make such a song and dance about this, however, these musicians needed no overdubbing.

The beginning almost sounds better than the original but there's no excusing the end
para mi gusto no consigue darle el sentimiento de Thom...
Technically a fine cover, but completely lost the thing that made the original so special, the vocals lack raw emotion, they lack anger.
The vocalist is too concered with her pitch and embellishments that she's lost the emotion.
It's somewhat made up for with the distorted effects in the hard sections, but they can only do so much.
The underlying feeling in the vocals is completely gone. Technically a better voice than Thom Yorke's but it doesn't sound anywhere near as good.
Not going to leave a dislike or anything, and the music is absolutely fine, it's just sort of missed the point of doing a radiohead cover.

@@EleanorK So firstly I'm no expert on this, not a vocal coach or anything so I'm really just sharing my opinion more than anything. Also, I'm a big radiohead fan so maybe I'm being too harsh on what is essentially a good cover.
I don't know how easy it is to replicate what Thom does with his voice. The things that make it raw and emotional are the imperfections. For example, the line "you don't remember, you don't remember" are sort of shouted rather than sung (which you do well, but that theme is really present throughout the whole song. I think particularly at the start the notes should be flatter and less embellished), they lose the tonality because he's portraying the situation where he lives out his drunk fantasy of having power of the security guard that kicked him out of the club, he's drunk, he's angry, he's getting kicked out of the bar and basically saying to the security guy, when I'm in charge you're the first one against the wall. It's raw, however shallow those feelings are the day after, it's a deep emotion at the time.
In fact the whole song is written from the point of view of drunk Thom, it's meant to be a bit wavy, not quite pitch perfect all the time.
I'd imagine as a good vocalist it's hard to sort of step down a level in that regard. You listen to something like 15 step by radiohead and a great vocalist could be more pitch perfect, could technically sing it nicer, but it kind of loses what makes it good.

@@EleanorK Like, in the first place absolutely fucking respect for going head first into paranoid android, you couldn't really have picked much of a tougher radiohead track to go at, maybe a few things from TKOL, and some of the rhythmically weirder tracks like pyramid song or videotape.
I do think your voice would be beautifully suited to A Moon Shaped Pool, I'd like to hear some of that.
Perhaps one of the best covers of this amazing song. amazing musicians and edited superbly! But unfortunately, like so many covers out there, all notes and words are covered perfectly but the emotion and 'living the song' is left out. Half of the music is making the listener 'live' the story with you. Make people feel that you mean what you are singing (and playing), not only trying to sound great. you already got that covered ;)
