@dietotaku I agree. He seems controlling and I couldn't stand the way he wasn't happy for her wearing a ball gown if that's her choice. If the bride is beaming with happiness then her fiance should know instantly that's the right dress she already chose. Can't imagine how he'll be in the marriage.
@@kerrystone7375 It's hard to tell if he's just stating his preference (nothing wrong with that) and this is staged by the producers for the drama or if he's really controlling, which would be a big red flag. Either way, I don't like it.
@BasicYTHandle Yes that could be true. I find it hard to believe that producers actually condone that sort of behaviour though, so I'm thinking he's just a control freak. The vibe is definitely off.

It's not just your opinion. It's a whole lot of people's opinions. Including mine!!!
They can point out dresses they like beforehand, but this feels like there has been drama when she's come home with a ball gown and now she has to go buy a reception dress. I get the feeling from grandma's comment about "I hope she knows we love her" that granny has probably had to step in with the compromise of getting a sexy reception dress to please him.
I guess my only differing opinion here would be, that if the bride has an opinion on the groom's suit and the wedding colors, then the groom should have an opinion on the bride's dress as well. Otherwise, wear whatever you want and feel good in.. :)

If the soon to be groom is making those comments that is the first sign of an abusive relationship and she needs to leave. There's a fine line between saying your opinion and controlling her and what she likes. She's wearing it not him. He needs to learn how u talk to someone and the soon to be bride is going along w/it.
