Been wondering about adding HTV to rip-stop-nylon, do you know if this has been done? Your robe is beautiful! Love the color & touch of lace. Alex, do you think a large pressing mat, 14 X 24, used in quilting would work with easy press? Thank you, I'll stop asking questions now😉
I know that Siser Easyweed Extra is made for nylon. So that’s what I would recommend trying! The coating on nylon will repel pretty much all other HTV products except Extra. Thank you! I thought this style was really pretty! I haven’t worked with one of those pressing mats before, but essentially you’re looking for a thick and dense foam pad to keep the surface of the garment lifted up off the table while pressing. But the size sounds like it would be great!!
This is super helpful! I was trying to figure out how to put names inside coats so they don’t get lost at school.
Thanks Ruth!! Oh yes, this would be applicable to coats too. HTV labels would definitely be helpful!
Omg that font trick! I love you lol!
Im glad you love it!

Great video...suggestions will help alot for those making these
You’re welcome! I know there is lots of confusion around pressing HTV on satin (wedding related or not)!
That turned out so pretty!
Thank you! If I was getting married again I would totally use these robes!
Very pretty robe 💕
Thank you Sis! ☺️

Hi Alex! Michael from mr.craftypants mentioned yiu in recent live and told me about you. I'm SO excited!
Welcome Emily! I'm so glad you're here 💕! Michael is awesome. I'm sl glad you follow him as well!
This was very helpful - thanks!! What about "100% Mulberry Silk"? Have you ever tried HTV on that type of blend?
I haven’t tried that kind, but I think it’s worth a try! Just order one to try if you can.
how long would I need to press down with a regular iron and iron board? I am so scared to mess up the robes
I would press for 5 seconds at a time and let it cool in between.
How do you get the wrinkles out/wash/dry it?
Once you apply HTV, don't iron it anymore. You can still wash and dry it according to the instructions.
What is the name of the glyphs software? Did you say name tag?
It's called Main Type.
What about a Polyester/Spandex mix?
Then don’t press more than 5 seconds at a time whenever your fabric has spandex. Darker colors make scorching from spandex more obvious.
Would it still work if I just used a regular iron?
Yes, just be mindful of scorching!
I have a robe that just says recycled polyester. What your recommendations?
Any temperature should be fine for polyester :) I can't promise that, but I haven't seen any issues with polyester yet.
How do you add the font to the cricut fonts?
Download the font, install on your computer, then close design space and reopen it. You should see it under system fonts.
