Great video! I just started getting into Second Sight. Main reason is cost. I have to be selective about what titles I want those premium packaging. I got Dawn of the Dead last year since it is one of my favorite horror movies. Recently I got You're Next, Dog Soldiers and Martin. I did order The Hitcher day one. I was NOT going to miss out on that! I grew up with that movie.
I’ve been collecting movies since the mid 90’s and Second Sight’s Dawn of the Dead and Texas Chain Saw Massacre releases are the greatest home video releases ever. Period. And I’ll die on that hill.
@mikeyhorror The TCM box art is great. I just didn't love the color pattern (Too much White)... they should've made it look like dripping blood through the white part....
I own the Paranormal Activity hard box & Ginger Snaps trilogy & High Tension & DOTD & IT Follows & May and loads more. Second Sight is my fave sight to order from.
SS is easily the best label out there imo. i wish theyd do more than 2 releases a month but im grateful for what they do
I don't have much from SS, just The Changeling LE Bu-ray, Lake Mungo LE Blu-ray, When a Stranger Calls LE Blu-ray, and I have The Hitcher LE 4K pre ordered. I did have The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4K from them but ended up selling it because I didn't care for their transfer.
Imo Gonjium is one of best found footage movies ever next to The Houses October Built and The Gallows
YES 976-EVIL!! I got the Eureka blu ray, so cool. Have several DVD copies I've come across in Pawn shops, etc. Always mint, some people gladly don't get it 😆. Englund did a great job directing. And I love Hooper's EATEN ALIVE. I'm pretty sure that was the first Arrow blu ray I got back when Hastings was still open. I grabbed the Dark Sky DVD back before even checking out the blu ray section. Once I grabbed original The Town that Dreaded Sundown, Eaten Alive, Blacula, etc etc it's been snowballing ever since. I became aware of Second Sight when they announced they were doing a 4K restoration of The Hitcher. I've been following them evr since and pre-ordered that bad boy as soon as it was available. Can't wait to see watch that movie again in HD. The DVD release was terrible, it looked like it was sourced from a Cable TV rip or bad laserdisc transfer.
I have the their collector’s edition of It Follows. Everything about it is premium. I may get Late Night With the Devil too because they’re just a sure thing when it comes to these sets.
I have been using Second Sight for over ten years and am a very big fan.
Arrow video is still number one for me and Second sight is right there.... In my opinion.... I buy 70% of Arrow and 50% of Secind sight....
I've just pre-ordered The Hitcher, Blair Witch & Late Night With The Devil limited editions from Second Sight.

Nice to know that Sleep away camp 2 & 3 was available on 88 films put my order in,. I'm still very new to all these boutique labels. There was no way i was gonna pay these crazy high prices for these movies. Don't mind paying a little bit more but not what these resellers want.

About region-free, I have been thinking about it this past year. Thinking of pulling the trigger come tax-time. I want to replace my current 4K player (Sony x700). I just need to decide on which option to go with: 1 - get a region-free 4K player or go separates with a region-free BD player and new 4K player. For most people, a all-in-one player would be better. But my thoughts are with a separate player dedicated to different region discs, I wouldn't have to switch settings back and forth. I just have to make sure that the region-free player is for DVDs as well since some tv shows are only available in other regions. But it is something I am looking into. And, surprisingly, my wife is on board with it. LOL
Arrow Video put out a window box dvd version of Martin. Second Sight is knocking it out of the park, more modern-day cult greats.
Session 9 really isn’t my cup tea Blair witch project at the cinema at 15 with all the ppl who’s seen it saying it will play on your mind was so true scariest best cinema experience I’ve had. 👍
I got 2nd sight's release of Martin a ehile back. Great presentation of a movie that hasn't been in print in the US since the VHS days. Probably my favorite non-zombie film Romero did.
The only thing I don’t like about second sight is the art cards, just give me a double sided poster. I’ve never once done anything with art cards. I plan on finally getting a region free player in the next couple months so I can get releases like may and ginger snaps.
Second Sight is magnificent. Dawn of the Dead is their magnum opus release.
What’s a good region free player you’d recommend?
Sony x800m2 or 1000 something model Panasonic 820 or 9000 and if you want to go top dollar there's a couple of super deluxe players, but you're going to pay about 2000 or more..... Panasonic 820 or 9000 are the goods, but I have the Sony due to having the new 3000 receiver 4k/8k/imax, basically everything with a 9:2:2 set up and a mini led x93L in my theatre room.... Everything is Sony for me, bas8cally every room in our house is sony everything, but one bedroom Samsung tv.... it's all about your preference....Good shopping ...
Watch The Borderlands (2013). It’s a found footage movie that Second Sight released recently which surprised me as it’s such a small niche movie.
Second sight is the best as far as presentation….. there are two titles that in my heart ❤️ I know are coming

I'm surprised, CHH didn't show the awesome "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" boxset.
I know the limited edition "Dawn Of The Dead" is the crown jewel in their arsenal, but I would speculate that "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" boxset is their biggest seller given the familiarity and popularity of the film.
I'm not sure if "The Hitcher" will surpass "Chainsaw" as it's not quite as recognizable as the latter.
But, it won't really matter in the long run because we physical media fans are in for a treat either way.
I really hope Second Sight gets their hands on "Longlegs."
