Artist's Note: I wasn't sure how they were going to follow up on 01, but this fast-paced, almost frantic song contrasts so perfectly to 01's melancholic undertones and sad yet hopeful message. This song is crazy but has one of the coolest choruses I've ever arranged. Such interesting dynamics throughout. Also, ever since Happiness of the Dead, Shiyui has been on my radar. She's an incredible singer. And produced by DECO*27? Yes please. I really dig this track a lot.
Again, I took some liberties with the lyrics here, more than usual. I wanted to push this one into like a late-2000s punk rock "I'm going crazy for love" sort of area, and the lyrics were the hardest I had to push for that. I still made sure to keep the themes of the lyrics as they were, but I put a lot of emphasis on using opposite words next to each other to really capture that feeling of love making someone go crazy. Where the smallest thing can cause a huge shift in your mood or feelings about something. But I also made sure to keep the same positive, "keep going" attitude throughout just like 01 had. Hope y'all enjoy my take on this one!

Interesting to hear this song with male vocals, almost like it's Andy's perspective (the fact that UU songs can equally apply to him, Fuuko, Juiz, and Victor is both brilliant, amazing and kinda sad ngl)

I think it’s probably due to the dubbing of the song, I think this song is more difficult to be translated to English than other openings

if you're not aware of how English covers work, the only "actual lyrics" are in Japanese. any and all English lyrics are just interpretations. if you translate lyrics directly into English from Japanese, you mostly get nonsense which 1) doesn't make sense to English speakers on its own, 2) doesn't fit into the rhythm and timing of the original Japanese lyrics, and 3) doesn't rhyme. so all English covers involve some amount of rearranging or re-interpreting the lyrics in order to make them make more sense, have the same number of syllables (and therefore the same rhythm) as the original Japanese lyrics, and to make them rhyme. there could be any number of interpretations of the same song, which is why you'll hear different lyrics between multiple English covers of the same song.
personally, I often choose to re-interpret direct translations in order to make lyrics seem more cohesive and interesting to actual English speakers - that is, I localize lyrics, not just translate them. I want my covers to sound like they were meant to be written in English, and not like someone sang a simple translation of the lyrics. I make sure I preserve the song's original intent and message, but I convey it in a way that makes sense to English speakers, not Japanese speakers, so my lyrics often don't match the "actual lyrics". I'm sorry if this disappoints you! that's just how I choose to convey the message. Japanese is a very different language from English, so there's a lot of dissonance between how ideas are put into words. hope this helps you understand!
@SilverStorm Let me start off by saying. I didn't read your whole description. So maybe there's something I missed when what I did read. But when I Google search the song and had it translate it. The lyrics came out in english. I do understand that Japanese and english culture has different words for different meanings. But the lyrics popped up in english and were very readable. Don't get it twisted. I still really like your song I was just wondering. Thank you, though.
