OMG what is this sorcery 😍! This is what I have been looking for, result is perfect. Finally no white around the edges when setting a black background! Not all heroes wear capes ❤💋
Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. In most videos when it comes to removing the background, the magic wand is always pointed out, but that's no use when you have so many details in the picture. Many greetings from Germany
Go to magic wand tool and select the photo, then go to select at the top and click on similar, then click on select again and click on inverse, make a new layer and then you get a PNG of whatever you want
Just convert the copy of the imagen to gray scale using ctrl + shift + U and ajust the levels. I just try it with a image of color smoke and it work perfectly!
This is great but please for anyone posting Photoshop tutorials on RUclips, please put a black bannner on the bottom so when we stop and rewind we can see the photoshop adobe buttons over the youtube displays.
Bro.. can I give you a Nobel prize.. my God. I spent 3 hours watching tutorials that didn’t work and you solved my problem in one 2 second comment lol THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I could hug you 🤣
Thank you sir... this is a very useful video, but I have a problem, when I work on a color photo in exactly the same way, when I create a new layer, the color changes from color to black. What is the solution?
Hello, thanks for your video and your time. I have only a question, please: Why when I export it do I see a total black image? Is there a special way to export it with this transparent background? Thanks
Ok this seems to have worked well in Photoshop, but I have to save it as a JPEG to use it as a watermark for Lightroom. When I click to add the watermark in Lightroom the logo still has a white block background. I just want the logo in the photo, not the square white background behind it. It literally looks like it worked until I go to put it on an image in LR as a watermark. Any ideas?
I experienced the same at first but check the comment just before pasting the original picture, you have to click on the mask while holding alt key, and then paste your original image ;-)
Best alternative: remove or change backgrounds with AI in one click: bit.ly/4hw7gQe
This is literally the best tutorial I’ve ever seen to remove a background without compromising any details. Took me 2 minutes
Nice 👍
@@bitmoni My green fonts turned monochrome. How to keep them green?
One minute and sixteen seconds. Incredible. Thank you for giving me the solution without wasting a single second of my time.

OMG thanks!! it works well in architectural plans, removing background while maintaining the scaled lineweight of my plans.
I was not logged in . Logged just to say thank you. Magic !

I am happy the video was helpful, thanks for watching ♥️
Good technique, but it didnt work when my image had colors in it. This worked only for B&W image
Same issue here

Really epic and helpfull :D
You are great and awesome bud ;)
How do you keep the color?
just add a white color layer underneath and you'll see the colors are back to being true
@@ashleybenchek7352 What do you mean exactly? Please elaborate
@@niclasweintz same. didn't understand
Watch video carefully
Just duplicate the layer
Trying to do this for a font/logo. How can I restore the color of the font and still ditch everything else/the background?
Thanks man, I was looking for that. Finally no white trace back with the black line.

lovely! thanks, just a little question, when I click copy the final image, it creates a new layer, i clicked alt key but didn't work
exellent !
This works so well, but then how do you use the extracted image in a new document when it is linked in the layers?
You can save it as PNG or merge the layers and move it to the document
You are the best, thank you so much for this! ✨✨
You're welcome dear💕
To fix the semi-transparent, just under the properties tab click "select and mask" and change the contrast to 100%.
amazing dude i was facing the exact issue while my colors was not black and white.
amazing!!!

could you please explain, how it worked ? and how do you know those steps to follow one after another ?
Fantastic! Thank you

When I try to paste the original image in the mask, it actually creates a new layer. It doesn't work as in your example.
I experienced the same at first but check the comment just before pasting the original picture, you have to click on the mask while holding alt key, and then paste your original image ;-)
