History that predates so much of the past of the rest of the world. Our people have been here for more than 60,000 years. That is history we should be learning. Thanks for sharing this. Cheers
Very true Trevor, I chose this site as the topic for my end of year uni essay - and thought it would be great to share here. Throughout highschool we learnt more about the American Civil War than Australia's Indigenous history. Thank you
Thank you for sharing, I saw a short doco on this and generosity of the land owners allowing access to Traditional owners to maintain the area... Thank you again 👍🏿
Quite amazing - would be worth a trip back perhaps with more powerful camera to take some detailed shots. I have a feeling it's lasted for millennia, but the sandstone is weathering away so may not be around for too much longer. You tell it's always been a magical site - begging for people to leave their imprints. Thanks for sharing.
It sure is an amazing place - It’s estimated to have been painted 3,000 years ago. Hopefully it can be preserved for future generations to enjoy and learn from it. Thank you.
It's a very interesting location - this was filmed in late August, I then used the site as the topic for my end of year paper, so I've learnt a lot about it since!
