    okayyy
    it means that those nano crystals put extra light through those pixels bcoz of which the quantum dot display is much brighter and energy efficient as compared to others

    The idea behind this is basically to improve the existing technologies on the market just enough to "bridge the gap" until OLED has become more affordable. If all goes right, by 2020, manufacturing of OLED TVs will be highly optimized and the prices will be about what these Quantum Dot TVs are now.

    • @xintimidate

      3 years later and the only TV this applys to is the Vizio OLED when it goes on sale lol

    • @IAmNeomic

      @@xintimidate To be fair, when I made this comment, I don't think anyone would have expected pretty much every major TV manufacturer to be trying to move AWAY from OLED. Samsung sticking to QLED, LQ shifting to NanoCell, Sony running back and pushing forward with full-array LED, Panasonic dropping out of the TV market. Madness.

    • @xintimidate
      @xintimidate 3 года назад +1

      @@IAmNeomic Panasonics dropping out? Wow I didn't hear that. All I've heard from them recently is that they are starting to consider to sell in the US. Actually Samsung is going OLED. Rn they are manufacturing QDOLED (Quantum dot OLED). I think it's coming out within the next 2 years.

    "medical applications" - I just heard a theory that quantum docs might be used in the covid vaccines as a way of tracking people or checking to see who's taken the vaccine. Anyone know if this is possible?

    • @curtiskil
      @curtiskil 4 года назад +4

      It’s possible. They use quantum dots to track plankton

    • @curtiskil
      @curtiskil 4 года назад +1

      The vaccines also attack spike proteins which are needed for placenta formation. Aka making babies.

      It's not a theory but a fact it's being used in the jabba wokies and the "tests". This is the real agenda behind everything.

  • @MrLaeddis1
    @MrLaeddis1 10 лет назад +1

    Just wait for OLED 4k. Unless you need to buy a TV now, it's better to wait for that. That would be a pretty safe and future proof TV.

    what that will be revolutionary and next step up is a screen filled by quantum dots only, no lcd at all, not a lcd with a frame/edge of quantum dots. thats when it will beat oled and everything else in all departments of measure be it color vividness or crystal longevity

    Doesn't really matter if it's not being broadcasted outside of the REC 709 color space. You won't be able to see any differences until broadcasters update to REC 2020, which could be a while.
