All of the playthroughs and storytelling that you're doing right now are really good. I've never played STALKER or watched it played by someone else before, but I'm enjoying these!

15:50 Wonder how many players have done the dance of death through the anomaly field in front of the entrance to that bunker without trying to find another route in.
Here's a tip about Poltergeists I wish I knew earlier: They're blind. As long as you're quiet they don't know where you are. And if you move, quietly, after every time you shoot, they'll fling their objects at the wrong place.
edit: I feel that the lesson here should be less 'shoot soldiers on sight' and more 'don't invade active military bases through the front gate in broad daylight'.
Please dont forget that these anomaly fields often contain an artifact :)
Absolutely. If you're taking your bolt out, take your detector out as well. It doesn't hurt, and might get you an artifact.
Its always struck me as strange that in Stalker, when its pissing down with rain that everyone is sitting out in the rain, I would expect Guards only to be standing in the rain, everyone else, sitting in the bar or resting
Going through big anomalies like the one at the comm hub and not searching for Artifacts, i'll take that as you roleplaying a rookie Stalker and not forgetting about these things :)
Interesting how people tend to take the seriousness of the Sphere compound differently depending on how/which way they got delivered this quest :D Not to spoil much, there are at least two ways, and the second one basically have someone face to face saying how crazy secured it is and gives different route into it. But because its someone in person saying it, has bigger impact than over radio getting confirmation and a way in :D I started sneaking like half way to this place 🤣

Try sprinting through closed doors for the "kick the door surprise attack" . Or just to save time entering doors 😁
Stashes are disappointing in the beginning of the game. But as you progress they become more challenging to reach and every now and then reward you with really good gear. So, keep exploring them!
Posting lets play episodes at midnight EST time, and 6am GMT is welcome, but honestly insane. Is that the time you normally post, or is something different?

Gopher uploads them in batches and releases them on a schedule.
Probably because Gopher is currently on vacation and less concerned about exactly when they post.

Basically i scheduled these to release automatically whilst away and chose times that youtube tells me most of my viewers are active :) no idea if thats a good idea

You do know about the medical boxes, right? The white plastic-i boxes you can open and get medical items inside? Similar to the ammo boxes and food boxes in that principle.

if the foliage shimmering effect becomes annoying there's this really good engine tweak on nexus mods called -> "Optimization Essentials - Stutter Performance Latency Fixed". I use 2.0 Crysis version + this added line: D3D12.PSO.DriverOptimizedDiskCache=1.
Really good visual bump and almost no fps cost, at least on my 12900k/4090 combo
